A food tour that sets the bar quite high! - We have done quite a few food tours throughout our 7 months of exploring Southeast Asia, but this one set the bar quite high. The entire experience was much better than any other that we've done. Fist, we were picked up at our hotel by our guide and tuk tuk driver and given a gift (Lost Plate can coozie) which we used throughout our tour to drink the unlimited beers that they had in a cooler on the tuk tuk. There was also water available as well. Our guide, Vy, was very nice, spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable of the foods and history behind everything we ate. We felt that the stops were very well thought out and the food was amazing. We even had a bonus surprise when I told her that I would eat anything. So we stopped at a stand and I tried a Balut, which is a fertilized developing egg embryo that is boiled or steamed and eaten from the shell. I tried it, but I will say, I will not be going out of my way to eat that again! But it was nice that she was listening and made a special stop for me to try something really exotic. At the end of the tour we stopped and got dessert and had a drink at a rooftop bar overlooking the Russian market, before our driver dropped us back at our hotel. Oh, and at the end, we were given another gift, a Lostplate canvas zipper pouch with stickers inside. Just a great experience all around. Highly recommend!

Fun way to start the day! - Our family (two adults & a 9yo) did the Morning Market and Food tour & it was brilliant. Our guide Vy was great, very easy to talk with and gave good explanations of all the foods we tried. The whole tour was very well organized, communication after booking was great. Overall we'd recommend this tour to anyone wanting a fun start to their day in Phnom Penh.

Insightful and fun food experience - We booked the morning food tour, because not many food tours cover breakfast (unlike dinner). We loved the tour - not only did we experience different local breakfasts (all delicious), but we also learned about Cambodian food history and culture. Our guide Vy was amazing and we vibed from the beginning - it was so much fun! She has a good relationship with the owners of the food places we visited, which led to some entertaining banter and laughter. Communication from booking to attending the tour was easy and clear, which added to the seamless experience. We'd definitely try out other Lost Plate food tours in the future.

Taste of Cambodia with locals - Good way to enjoy local food & enjoyed walk through the local market. Stops included noodles soup, rice with pork & picked and caramelised egg, local coffee & condensed milk & some fried sweet treat. Particularly enjoyed walk through the local market. Good guide and very interesting to learn the way of life of locals. We did the morning tour so less options than afternoon/ evening. Still thoroughly enjoyable.
