Great Experience Avoid the Photos - This is an amazing experience. It’s probably the best tour I have ever been on and this is my second time coming. It’s like going on a tour with Indiana Jones, with far less (almost no) Nazis. Beautiful caves filled with water and stalagmites (and mites!). I was there in a group with couples and then a family both a five year old. Everyone enjoyed it. Beware the photo scam. It is truly meant to guilt you into buying $30 single photos or $100 for the whole package of which maybe three total you'd want to see again. The buffet is essentially a way to corral you for the photo nonsense and have you wait for your bus, but by no means it is bad. You’ve just had much better. The experience itself in the cave it just tremendous though.

Beautiful ancient underground river - Fernando was the best tour guide. We learned so much and had a very enjoyable time and was pleasantly surprised lunch was included and was delicious.

An unforgettable experience for the whole family! - We visited Río Secreto with our children aged 5 and 7 and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Milo, was incredibly patient and was able to keep the children interested and excited throughout the tour. Even though the water is a little cold, it wasn’t something that stopped us from enjoying the adventure; the children adapted very well and wanted to continue exploring the caves. The walk was manageable even for them, and the beauty of the place impressed us. Undoubtedly, an activity we recommend for families looking for something different and magical.

Magical experience - Such a magical experience. I was a little scared about deep water as I’m not a great swimmer but it was totally fine and I felt very safe and cared for. 100% check out this tour. My group had elderly people in it and they had the best time and no issues with navigating the cave.

- The inside of the cave was phenomenal. I do not swim very well so I was so anxious about drowning inside the cave. Our guide Guillermo is the best! He helped me through the difficult spots. He was such a gentleman. He helped me through the deep waters and held my hand when wading through the rough waters . I have to say the shoes they give you does not really help with the rocks inside the cave . It helps that they gave us wet suit and life vests. Wear the wet suit ! It is cold inside the water. The life vests is pretty self explanatory. You will have to wear one because you do not know what your experience will be like . They have some kids in my group and some of them the parents carried them through the rough waters. They did very well. Overall, I am glad I did it. Would I do it again ? Probably not but that’s just me and the fear of being in the water inside a dark cave . 😣

Fun, beautiful family experience with some deceptions - Fun, interesting and beautiful! Lunch provided was very average… I had reserved a french guide since the kids don’t understand english and had a confirmation on my e-ticket, but once on the site, no french guide for us. Come to find out from a french canadian family at the hotel, that they went the next day and they had a french guide. Anyway, the guide we had, Tainara, was very understanding and fun. The photos are really a tourist trap! One photo for 30 USD!!! That’s like almost 50$ CAD for one photo!!! Well, we’ll need to cherish the memories…

Good experience but skip the photos - The tour was great. Omar was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. The photographer Luciano was funny and took some good photos. The food was so so after and the photos quite expensive at $30 usd per pic. Id prefer a pay restaurant and the photos be $10 ea

Disorganization and disappointing - not worth the hassle - While the cave was beautiful, the experience was ruined by poor communication and transportation. Our driver left early and went to the wrong location— thankfully, our resort staff stepped in to help. The "skip the line" perk was misleading, as we were grouped with over 35 others after picking up a wristband. After the tour, we waited over an hour for return transport with no clear updates from staff. Driver passed 2 of 3 couple’s resorts and had to back track 10-15 minutes. Not what you expect-especially on a birthday. Would not book again.

Disappointing - I wouldn’t have booked this tour had I known we couldn’t bring our phones to take our own pictures. It is a great tour and we had a wonderful tour guide, but prohibiting people from taking their own pictures really took away from the experience for me. I was worried their professional photographer would just focus on taking pictures of the people on the tour and not the beautiful scenery and I was right. We purchased the pictures and there was only one picture taken of the scenery on our tour and then a bunch of stock photos (in addition to 50 not so great ones of us). I can understand one or two pictures of the tour participants but 40 and none of the actual cave was super disappointing. Because of this, I would not do the tour again or recommend it.
