Top Noch Company and Tour!!! - We had the best private tour in Puerto Plata! Transportation was nice and comfy. Our driver Robinson was great, we felt very safe. Our tour guide Francisco gave us a great experience. He took us everywhere we wanted to go, and wasn't pushy about anything. I highly recommend Edgar Private Tours and would use them again and again!

Two great informative and fu. Tours with Fernando. Highly recommend! - Fernando was our guide for both a city tour and a private tour to Paradise Island. Fernando was able to answer our questions about the local area as well as offer information about the DR. He was friendly and kind throughout. My friends and I (3 and then 2 ladies when one had to fly out) all felt safe and cared for throughout our adventures. We are grateful to have found this tour company.

Best time ever.. - Will recommend 💯 very responsible we went to do ATV. Gerson our driver he was checking on us all the time he ask what else we wanted to do .. he gave us some tips to do we went in the MSC world America Cruise and we were pick up and drop at Taino bay we had the best time ever

Wonderful Private Van to Cabarete. - We took the Private Van and spent the day at Cabarete. It allowed us time on a great beach where we could play in the water, have lunch at one of the many great restaurants, and do some shopping. It was awesome being able to go on our schedule in a private van but also have someone there as a guide. Definitely worth the price to have the 6 hours to go where you want. I highly recommend Geoffrey as the driver. Gerson was our guide and extremely helpful throughout the day.

Private Van Tour - Extremely disappointing - This tour is described as a private tour with flexibility on what the traveller wants to do. Our driver basically refused to do any of the things we really wanted to do. Upon picking us up, he had several "suggestions" none of which was what we hired a private driver for. It was very clear he would only take us where he had personal connections. We kept asking him to take us other places and were told it was not possible. We ended up going to one beach, for $220 cost of this "tour". A taxi would have cost much less. We wanted to drive around the area, up into the hills, etc. Drive and sightsee. The beach we were taken to was also clearly in the pockets of these tour operators. We had a very expensive lunch at a restaurant that had 2 menus. One for the ripoff/cruise passenger prices. The other at less than half price for everyone else. We didn't need to book through Viator to get that experience. Overall it left a very bad impression of the Dominican Republic.
