To visit the traditional Italian restaurant La Gavitella, you can either descend approximately 400 steps near the Church of San Gennaro if you’re in Praiano, or take our shuttle boat from Positano or Marina di Praia.

Our skilled chefs will welcome you with an Italian breakfast featuring coffee and a cornetto in the morning session, or a refreshing welcome drink in the afternoon. Then, don your apron and hat and prepare to cook!

Follow detailed instructions to create authentic Italian bruschetta, dough for three classic pizzas — Pizza Margherita, Pizza Marinara, and Pizza with Amalfi Coast lemons — and conclude by crafting delightful Italian gelato. Savor Italian Prosecco and limoncello during the class while we capture these memorable moments with photos and videos.

After the cooking class, relish a lunch or dinner with the dishes you’ve prepared while enjoying views of the Li Galli Islands and the Faraglioni Rocks at sunset. You’ll receive the recipes and a certificate of attendance. The shuttle boat will return you at the end. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
