Tambopata National Reserve - CANOPY WALK:
Just 200 meters from the resort, head to the Canopy Tower, which stands 35 meters tall. Anchored by a grand Lupuna tree, this structure showcases the vastness of the Amazon.
From this vantage point, spot a variety of bird species. A local expert will provide detailed insights into the region’s flora and fauna.
Tambopata National Reserve - ZIP LINING:
After the treetop walk, transition to a 190-meter zipline adventure. A local instructor will brief you on safety procedures and offer tips to enhance your ziplining experience. They’ll also guide you across a 100-meter bridge. Then, return to the starting point.
Following this exhilarating activity, return to the lodge for a nourishing lunch. Afterward, unwind in the comfort of the hammocks.
Tambopata National Reserve - KAYAK:
In the early afternoon, embark on a kayaking adventure. The team will ensure you have all the essential safety gear. For added security, a safety boat will accompany the group. Afterward, refresh with a swim in the cool currents of the Madre de Dios River.
Tambopata National Reserve - MONKEY ISLAND:
After kayaking on the Madre de Dios River, journey for 15 minutes to Monkey Island. Encounter species such as capuchin monkeys, black monkeys (Cebus apella), and white monkeys (Cebus albifrons), among other fascinating creatures. Many of these species are quite sociable. Under the guidance of a local expert, approach and feed them while observing their interactions within the Tambopata National Reserve.
Return to the resort by 4:30 PM, just in time to witness the breathtaking Amazonian sunset.
Tambopata National Reserve - CAIMAN SPOTTING:
As dusk settles, embark on a boat expedition to search for both white and dwarf caimans. Their eyes, reflecting in the night, will guide the way to spot them. By 7:30 PM, return to the lodge for dinner and a restful night’s sleep.
Lake Sandoval – Night Walk
Tambopata National Reserve - Awakened by the melodic calls of birds, start the day in the heart of the Amazon. Enjoy a sumptuous Amazonian breakfast, featuring fresh fruit juice, a steaming cup of Peruvian coffee, eggs, pancakes, fried plantains, and other regional delicacies.
At 9:30 AM, head across the river to the control station where local authorities will document the details of each visitor. From there, embark on a three-kilometer trek to Lake Sandoval. Throughout this journey, enjoy sightings of diverse species, including river otters and other captivating wildlife.
Lago Sandoval - Amidst the serene backdrop of Lake Sandoval and surrounded by the lush jungle, enjoy a splendid meal on its shores. Afterward, embark on a rowboat, venturing to the lake’s heart in search of diverse birds and wildlife.
The region is home to hoatzins, cormorants, anhingas, and the notable “playful otters”. After soaking in the vibrant life of Lake Sandoval, head back to the resort.
Puerto Maldonado - After breakfast, transportation will be provided to Puerto Maldonado, to the airport or bus terminal according to the schedule of your flight or bus.

The Peruvian Amazon Jungle is home to a diverse range of vegetation and wildlife. The Macaw Clay Lick, the world’s biggest, is one of the must-see sites. Hundreds of vividly colorful macaws, parrots, and parakeets flock here to consume the cliff’s clay. The clay here has a unique mineral concentration that aids in the removal of poisons from the birds’ bodies.
