Visible every night, incredible experience, get in the water even if you cant swim! - Was an incredible experience! You dont need to know how to swim! Started by meeting at Margarita bar, gave us each free shots, then we got on the boat from zona romantica and then about 30 mins to the islands. The tour guide was funny and informative. They provided goggles, blankets and water. The bioluminescence is visible always, even if the moon is bright, they take you to swim under a cave where its dark enough to see it clearly. I cant swim but I wore a life vest and went in the water. Our guide alex gave me a floaty and took me around to the cave and I got to see underwater that looked like stars in space. 100/100 experience, worth every penny! No photos cause its too dark and the water makes it hard for the camera to focus. Also recommend nausea pill ahead of time for motion sickness.

Awesome Experience - Guides were wonderful. Met us at the designated meeting place on time, super friendly. I accidently made my reservation on the next day from my group, no problem! Victor made it work so we were all together. Victor and Angel were a great team and so incredibly knowlegable. Beautiful experience, would do it again in a snap!

Must do - Awesome experience! We walked down to pier to step onto the boat. Waters were a little rough, but the captain (Jesus) and guide (Alejandro aka Alex) made sure we were okay with the speed. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and fully explained all the things. Seeing the bioluminescence from the boat was kinda cool... but once we got into the water? Wow! Amazing! I was prepared for an average experience due to some of the reviews I read, but it exceeded my expectations. Just get in the water. Yes, it was a bit cold, but it made the experience worthwhile. Got a towel and a little bottle of water on the ride back. Was dropped back off at pier.

Book this one!! - Great tour! Lots of historic information about the area and personalized suggestions from Alejandro (Alex). Beautiful sunset, amazing bioluminescent plankton, and a great playlist for cruising the coastline back in the dark. (Honestly the playlist kind of brought the group of strangers together singing and grooving.) Good family activity, getting in the water in the dark is optional (but seriously the best way to see the plankton). Enjoy!
