Punta Arenas - The tour may commence from either the airport or the city of Punta Arenas.
After a brief city tour, the journey continues to the Cross Hill lookout, offering an introduction to the stunning landscape that includes Punta Arenas, the Strait of Magellan, and the Island of Tierra del Fuego.
Costanera de Punta Arenas - A drive leads to a short walk along the waterfront promenade, where visitors can observe seabirds such as Rock Cormorants, Olivaceous Cormorants, and Imperials. This area was once a bustling pier with hundreds of people arriving from various countries.
Other interesting species like Two-banded Plovers, Skuas, and Dolphin Gulls may also be spotted. The walk continues towards the Punta Arenas sign and the waters of the Strait of Magellan, preparing for the journey to Puerto Natales.
