The next stop will be at Mirador Cerro de la Cruz, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the vibrant rooftops of Punta Arenas, the Strait of Magellan, Dawson Island, and the legendary Island of Tierra del Fuego.
In the afternoon, the journey will continue towards Fort Bulnes, skirting the Strait of Magellan. There will be a pause at the geographical landmark marking the center of Continental, Insular, and Antarctic Chile, followed by a drive through the Puerto del Hambre area.
The tour will then proceed through the lenga and coihue forest to Punta Santa Ana, where Fort Bulnes is situated. The Fort has been reconstructed, allowing visitors to explore various buildings such as the chapel, jail, cannon courtyard, stables, and dining rooms.
