Happy that we visited - We showed up as a couple at 9am and we got the chance to get a private tour with Eduardo in English. Honestly, Eduardo was super engaging and super fun to chat with. He is knowledgeable and you can tell he actually loves what he is doing, none of it was forced which made genuinely made it the best tour ever! We learned new things about chocolate history and Mexican culture, and he was open to discussing parallels of the effects of colonialism in North America, which we are both interested in. Beautiful grounds and installation, we highly recommend!

Great for those who love History and Chocolate - Our tour guide Jose was the absolute best! We went to the Mayan Cacao Company and learned so much about Mayan chocolate and were even able to try some. A real treat if you're interested in some Mayan history and how chocolate came to be!

Chocolate tour - We did the general tour, we had our guide Paty all to ourselves on a 10am tour. If you are staying on the island get there early to avoid the cruise ship crowd! Paty was wonderful a very informative tour and she made chocolate for us from scratch it was delicious!! Also had tortillas and mole that were made that morning. We found the items in the gift shop to be reasonably priced. A quick 1hr tour and we had a great time!!
