Amazing dive centre - Absolutely fantastic dive centre. Perfect communication before arriving to Mexico. Spot on pick up times.
In the past I experienced some "skip" of the safety procedures in tropical destinations. Not here. Proper briefing, proper buddy check . Safe, friendly and just amazing.
Strongly recommended.

Diving with Pro Dive Playa del Carmen - I did 8 dives with prodive from the base in Playacar, they were highly professional and the equipment and boats were great and never overcrowded. Special thanks to Olaatz who looked after me throughout, she is a great asset and excellent diver. Also thanks to Carlos for the two dives in the Chikin Ha cenotes, he was also very professional and it was an amazing experience not to be missed

Cenotes Diving with the best - My husband and I recently enjoyed a day of Cenotes diving with Pro Dives. Our day was excellent. The pickup/ drop off, equipment rental and office admin were great and very organized. After a year of not diving due to covid, I was very happy that pro dives offered a quick refresh in the pool prior to our dives. Once at the Cenotes we dove with Nicola. She, along with all the staff at the cenotes are absolute professionals! I had no doubt in my mind that we were in the best of hands while diving. We were extremely impressed with the staff and education they gave us. The Cenotes were beautiful and we were so happy to dive them. We will definitely doing this again. Would definitely recommend.

Cenote diving :) - We were staying on Cozumel and booked the trip through pro dive at our hotel. It was all smooth and got picked up on the mainland and driven to the cenotes. Phil and Jadel met us at the cenotes and were very helpful and informative taking us down without kit first to look at the site. Phil was absolutely amazing and helpful as our dive guide and went at a pace to suite us through the cavern system and then a different route for the second dive. Even with the colder waters it is an experience not to be missed.

Amazing team! Amazing experience! - At first we were not sure on which dive we should do between the cenotes and cozumel, the team gave us all the informations to make the best choice cocnsidering our previous divine experience. We are more than happy with the choice we made, the experience In the cenotes was amazing, everything was so so well organized, the instructions put us in confidance and the instructor was very friendly! Also, this dive center is very safe, we hadnt dive in a while and they made us do a review in the pool which was very helpful. All of that behing said, i would recommence this dive site to everybody learning to dive or looking for an adventure! Thank you Manuel, Mathieu and baptiste for this unforgettable diving trip!

Small and relaxed, cenotes top - We dived from the Hotel Allegro Playacar with Pro Dive on Playa dem Carmen from 06.07. – 09.07.2023, which means that we had to walk about 2 minutes on the beach to the dive center attached to the neighboring Hotel Royal Hideaway.
We undertook 6 dives, including 4 cenote dives and the whale shark snorkeling trip (see extra report).
The dive center is small and seems a bit improvised. We were lucky enough to discuss directly with the friendly dive guide Boris that we had already dived on Cozumel (see extra report), whereupon he suggested the wreck of Mama Viña for our dive day in Playa del Carmen. A few days later we also made a nice and special dive there; the wreck at 25-30 meters is all around slightly overgrown and good to dive. Also the subsequent dive in the flat area of Barracuda Reef was pleasant (60 min), we could discover a lot, and the guides Soledad and Boris conducted the dive relaxed and casual (we were also fortunately only 4 divers on 2 guides).
Cenotes:
For the dives in the cenotes, one is i.d. R. picked up by minibus at 8.30 am and then meets the guide at Cenote. Also, you only find out which cenote it goes to on the way – that’s quite strange, and we wanted a certain cenote for the second day, which then worked out, but 100% the base could not confirm that until the departure.
Alessandro is a competent, funny and very conscientious cave diver who led the briefing and dives very well.
In the cenote Chikin-Ha you can turn up on one of two routes in another cenote (rainbow centote). Underwater, smaller fossils and some formations of stalactites and stalacmites can be seen here and there. A very good entry-level cento.
The Cenote Dos Ojos is more popular, fuller from later in the morning, but even more spectacular underwater. Many impressive, large stalactites and columns, large cathedrals flooded with light, and here, too, a spot to emerge: a bat cave with hundreds (or more) of sleeping bats.
Conclusion: a great experience, fantastic clear water, very fresh (25 degrees) in the long run despite 5 mm suit, but doable, with impressive underwater formations. There are hardly any fish, a few small perches and catfish; we were lucky and discovered a blind swamp eel in Dos Ojos.
Be sure to take mosquito repellent with you for the time of the briefing and the snack after the dives (you have to shower before diving).
And if you want to photograph yourself, you have to pay a fee on the spot; unfortunately, nobody predicts that; about 15-20 US dollars cash, depending on the camera size. In Chikin-Ha the owner dives with professional equipment and then offers the photos and videos for sale (we paid 1500 pesos = 80 euros for three people).
Addition: The (hotel) transfers organized by Pro Dive are reliable and good (delays maximum 15 min). Communication via WhatsApp with the central office number is also fast and binding.
