At Mercury, the aim is to offer each tour as a private experience. However, unpredictable weather may require combining previous travelers with current ones, with a maximum of 8 people per van if necessary.

Proposal under the lights! - Wow wow wow! From the first day I spoke to Andres I knew we would have an amazing time. I proposed under the northern lights and the communication with Andres was impeccable from start to finish. He was prompt and alerted me to change days as soon as he knew the forecast. He has sound knowledge of how to look for the lights and we were lucky to get an amazing view. He also took amazing pictures of the special moment. Andres was polite, welcoming and transparent throughout. I recommend his services!

Perfect Private Aurora Tour - Andres was amazing from start to finish. He planned everything carefully before the day and prepared a few options depending on the conditions, which made us feel very well looked after. This tour was especially meaningful for me because I was planning a proposal to my girlfriend. Andres was incredibly helpful and thoughtful throughout the whole experience. We went to the lighthouse, and he made sure we had the best chance to see the Aurora, and we did! It made the moment even more special and unforgettable. I really appreciate how supportive, professional, and kind he was. I highly recommend booking a private tour with him, especially if you are planning a special surprise or important moment.

Fantastic Aurora Tour in Reykjavík with Andres - It was a great experience. Andres was very helpful, took great care of us, and did everything he could to give us a wonderful aurora tour in Reykjavík. I would definitely recommend this experience to other travelers.

An unforgettable Northern Lights experience! - This was truly a fantastic Northern Lights night tour! Of course, seeing the aurora depends on the weather, but our guide was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the whole experience. My partner proposed to me during the trip, which made it even more unforgettable.
I have to say, the guide is also an amazing photographer, thanks to him, we have beautiful photos to remember this special moment. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, we were still lucky enough to see the aurora. The proposal was such a wonderful surprise!
Next time, I’ll definitely bring my parents, and I will absolutely choose him again and again. Highly recommended!100out of 100

Fantastic night - If You need private trip with professional and kind guide this is the perfect choice! I was planning engagement and Andres was incredibly helpful and patient with all my emails and questions. He did everything he could for us to see the northern lights and make it truly special moment. He also provided photos so we will forever remember this night. Besides all of that he is just super fun and friendly person so spending time with him was truly a blast! Highly recommend and I don't think that there is a better person to go on aurora hunt with!

Excellent experience - We booked Andres after reading some great reviews and wanting a small private tour to avoid a large bus and lots of waiting around. Tonight we were very lucky with the weather, Andres let us know we could start the tour earlier to catch some good lights so we headed out to a dark spot and we were not disappointed. Some amazing lights, we took some great pics and Andres kindly took some of us. We also stopped at a service station for snacks/coffee/bathroom break before continuing our search to some other locations, sometimes leaving the car and sometimes staying in the warm at windy areas.
We had a great experience with Mercury Grail and I would highly recommend to anyone 👌 👍🏻

Great Resource for Aurora Hunting - Andres has been wonderful and was very communicative during the entire time we were in Iceland, trying to find a day where the forecast was good to see the Northern Lights. When our initial tour day arrived and it looked like we were not going to be able to do our tour as planned, Andres asked for our schedule to free up additional time if one of the other days would also work for Mother Nature. We unfortunately were not in Reykjavik when we were able to see the lights, but Andres gave many tips for how we might see them when we were across the island, which resulted in success! I would highly recommend this tour company, even though we were unable to complete the tour to no one's fault, but the weather.
