Galleria Borghese & Villa Borghese Park – Art, nature and music in perfect harmony - An absolute highlight in Rome! The Borghese Gallery is a masterpiece in itself: intimate, elegant and filled with world-famous art. Bernini’s sculptures are nothing short of breathtaking – so lifelike that it seems they can move at any moment. The paintings of Caravaggio and Raphael also make a deep impression. Because the museum works with time slots, it is quiet and you can really enjoy every work of art. Pure class. After the museum, Villa Borghese Park is the perfect place to relax, and something very special happens here. You will meet musicians everywhere in the park: violinists under the trees, guitarists along the hiking trails, small bands at viewpoints or a saxophonist sounding softly through the park. The music floats through the avenues, as it were, and gives the park an almost cinematic atmosphere. It feels vibrant, romantic and relaxed at the same time – as if Rome is breathing slower here. The combination of greenery, art, viewpoints and live music makes this park unique. In some places, you stand to listen, while the sun shines through the trees and Rome is audible and visible in the background. Tips: Book tickets for the Borghese Gallery well in advance. After the museum, walk towards the Pincio terrace for a beautiful view of Piazza del Popolo. Take the time to just wander around and listen to the musicians – that completes the experience. In short: Galleria Borghese and Villa Borghese Park offer a perfect mix of top art, nature and music. One of the most beautiful and atmospheric experiences in Rome. Definitely a must-see!

Fantastic afternoon at Villa Borghese - It was a wonderful experience with Angelo as our guide. He was knowledgeable, fun, and very friendly. We learned so much about the art and sculptures in the museum.

Breath taking Bernini - If you love arts and sculptures in particular this place is a "must see". Bernini's sculptures are real masterpieces. They look like someone has turned live people to stone. The gallery is has other important art pieces as well and it is set in a richly decorated mansion in a beautiful park. All together worth visiting.

Borghese gallery tour - Although our guide was nice and very informative, we didn't get headsets which I think would have been helpful even though we only had 4 people in our group. He could have kept us all, together better.
