Wonderful days!!! Soso showed us wonderful things and adapted the program smoothly if requested by us - 3 days with Soso on the road. Couldn't be better. Pleasant lady in dealing with fine English spoken. Her explanation of everything was never too much and beautifully tailored

Walk through rice fields - We went on a hike with a local guide Stong and she was amazing. She took us on the natural path (not the easy way) and it was so much fun. We walked up and down through the rice fields, local homes and had beautiful vistas. She told us about the land, people and culture and was very helpful and kind. I was having some trouble with my knee, but she helped me in all the harder places. I highly recommend this adventure and hope you get Stong as your guide.

Excellent day out! - We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, our guide Soso was excellent, on top of showing us around she told us many stories about the local history. Lunch was delicious and lots of it. Please remember to bring cash as it is important to support the local crafts people.

Amazing and authentic experience, great English, Sapa is foggy in winter but it was still worth it! - Made the most of my one full day in Sapa, it’s muddy and slippery so wear sturdy shoes you don’t care for. My tour guide was very kind, highly recommend for a more intimate authentic tour

Great local experience - This tour was great. As expected, waking trough the rice and other crops fields, astonishing views, contact with the locals, seeing their farm animals such as pigs and water buffalo, a wonderful lunch in a very y local restaurant with great views, the bamboo forest. This was feasible thanks to the guide, a very nice and knowledgeable local woman that answered all questions including their history and culture.

Our guide was brilliant! - We only had 2 days in Sapa so wanted to experience as much as possible on the trek we chose. We loved this one, particularly our wonderful guide Xu (pronounced “Sue”). She met us at our hotel, gave us bottles of water, and the walk started from there. We trekked through a couple of small villages, through rice fields and farms, a bamboo forest, had a great lunch in one of the villages and learned so much about local life from her. Xu really made it special - she was so knowledgeable, warm, funny and the perfect guide. We were lucky to have her to ourselves. Trainers are most definitely required, hiking shoes would be even better. The pace is easy, but some of the terrain is not.
