2 Days at St.Chaterine Monastry from Cairo - Very well-organized tour. Beautiful landscapes. The driver, Mohamed Ismail, was very kind and helpful, always willing to stop so we could take photos along the long and beautiful road, and attentive to our needs. They provided a minibus just for the two of us, offering plenty of space and great comfort for such a long journey. In addition, they booked us the hotel closest to the Monastery of Saint Catherine, in a place of incredible simplicity and beauty—a true oasis of peace. Well done.

Cairo to St.Catherine Sinai - The service was excellent. Our driver, Mohamed Ismail, was outstanding and took many photos of us along the journey to Sinai from Cairo. He suggested the best spots to stop and take pictures in truly beautiful landscapes. Everything was very well organized, from the Bedouin guide for the mountain climb to the timing of the monastery visit. In addition, the agency booked us a hotel right next to the monastery — a place of peace, beauty, and spirituality. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Fijian on a wilderness journey - The tour will be remembered for my lifetime. The Egypt tour were very prompt to my less than 12 hour request, giving me options to choose from. He offered me a discount for a solo tour at US$350 for the return car ride, lunch, dinner, overnight acccommodation, mount sinai journey with guide & breakfast. . Thanks! Mr Ahmed Khalil was so kind to even call my hotel to confirm my trip. I was picked up as promised by my amazing guide Ahmed Eltayar Tito early Monday morning and began the 5hours + journey through the Egyptian desert and the famous suez canal. It was a smooth ride and he even stopped to have photos taken as part of my memory treasure box. He made the transition through the check points smoothly and we passed through without any problems. We reached St Catherine and had a wonderful middle eastern meal which was promptly and happily served with fresh colourful vegetables with chicken and local bread. The destination at the base of mt. Sinai was simply an amazing scenery. my room was ready to store my luggage and I quickly walked around the area meeting Mohammed a Bedouin guide who filled me in about his people and the holy site. I was impressed with the natural method of olive oil method of production and bought a bottle for my theuraptic massage as well as body cleansing. Showered and had an afternoon nap before dinner at 730pm. It was another tasty and colourful meal then I had my last sleep before the 1am hike up the mountain. My Bedouin guide Ahmed Al Tayyar was already waiting for me at 1am and we set out. He was very kind, patient and considerate when we took the unforgettable walk up the terrain. I opted for a camel ride (you pay 850 Egyptian pounds for a one way ride) which was the best decision I made. I rode the camel for about two hours. A great time to look into dark skies and meditate and pray, whilst my guide Ahmed and the camel owner chatted and guided me up the mountain. They were always checking on me if I was ok as I was very quiet - because I was just soaking in the experience. By the time we reached the end of the camel path, it was around 3am and it was getting very cold, so we rested at the coffee shop and we had a much needed hot chocolate drink. Tip - you have to pay for this about 100 Egyptian pounds a cup. Ahmed also suggested I take a 30mins nap. I gladly took the advise as by this time the weather was freezing. The owner of the coffee shop was equally kind. I had to hire a blanket at 200 Egyptian pounds to use while I napped and was also able to take it up to the summit as he said it would be very cold. Great advise again. There were other people on the journey so it was encouraging and also inspiring to see them push along. Then our 750 steps journey began. It was the most difficult moment of my life for the next two hours, climbing those steps. I stopped regularly as I struggled with breathing. Ahmed my Bedouin expert was so professional helping me up. He suggested we return if it was getting difficult for me. I said you gotta help me up as Im not returning without reaching the summit. I made it because of Ahmed’s help. Thank you so much Ahmed! It was an amazing unforgettable moment to reach the summit! The walk down was much easier and we reached the bottom at about 9am and I was ready for breakfast. I also got to tour the monastery, had brunch, took more photos for memories and was on our way. Of course I had to offer Ahmed my Bedouin guide a tip cause he was outstanding, highly recommend him. Our drive back was smooth, Ahmed Eltayah my guide from Cairo, was the happy person he is. We communicated using the translator app. He also helped me find accommodation in Cairo and also organised the RiverNile cruise and dinner. Great food, great entertainment and night cruise views. Dropped off at Cleopatra hotel to a classy hotel. Did a late check out and thanks to Ahmed, I hired him again to take me to the airport for my midnight flight to Dubai. The Cairo traffic is crazy and it was actually fun to watch him maneouver the car on the streets and highway!! He messaged to say he was late due to traffic but we got to airport way before time. Tip- when in Cairo leave 4-5 hours before check in time to be safe. I had the best time on this Mt Sinai and St. Catherine trip. Unforgettable. Memorable. One of the best trips of my life. Thank you to both Ahmed’s for being my guides. Highly recommended package!
