Above and beyond!! - The reviews were right!! This excursion was an absolute blast, and our guide, Michael, went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. You should definitely ask for him as your guide! Not only did he keep us entertained with interesting facts along the way, but he also made extra stops that weren’t part of the tour. We did an impromptu rum tasting at a roadside “bar”, and he also stopped to get us fish cakes to try and freshly baked banana bread, hot out of the oven. CJ and “Fun” at the river tubing were a blast, and made sure that we were safe on the river the whole time. It didn’t matter that water levels were low because they were always there to push us through if we got stuck. This is definitely not white water rafting, but there were some light rapids that made for some excitement. Overall, it was more like a lazy river, and everyone in our group enjoyed it immensely, even a lady who was quite frightened at the beginning. Michael also made sure we got to interact with the Mona monkeys, and at the Annandale Falls he became our photographer, taking pictures and videos of us jumping from the platform and swimming under the falls. I highly recommend this excursion - it surpassed my expectations!!

This is the company you want to book with - Denzel the driver was fantastic and the river tubing and falls were great fun. Overall a perfect experience. The young men 911 and his associate were amazing going on the river tubing. Such hard workers with a smile on their faces while doing it.

The River Tubing was fun... - The River Tubing was fun and the staff were great at helping us navigate the River safely. Our Tour Guide was very knowledgeable about his Country and we learned so much about Grenada, past and present. At our stop at Annandale Falls the young Monkey was a highlight for me when he sat on my lap and cuddled.

Birthday trip in Grenada - Our driver was awesome…he went above and beyond to make the experience wonderful…it was me and my sister first time in Grenada celebrating our birthdays and our tour guide/driver made it feel like home…thanks for the amazing experience….

Great fun, beautiful way to see the rain forest - The tubing is great fun with lots of beautiful sights of the rainforest. There was a bit of a wait for the rings, so they sent someone up a coconut tree to give us all fresh coconut water to drink!

More than just river tubing! - Fantastic guide, learnt loads about Grenada. As well as taking in beautiful scenery on the trip up and back. Great fun river tubing and jumping into the waterfall. The added extras like getting to try fresh coconut water, little stop to try some fresh spices and rum punch. Highly recommend.

Great tour guide; tubing was an enjoyable break from the beach - While we had a car and had driven across the island, we decided we needed a break from the twisty, challenging Grenadian roads and went with the tour to get to the Balthazar River tubing. The tour guide is the owner-operator--very friendly and with great stories. Denzel McIntosh (though he introduces himself as Denzel Washington). No problem picking us up at our resort at the far southwestern end of the island; a stop then to pick up some passengers at the cruise ship terminal. On our way to the tubing, we stopped at Grand Etang National Park--we saw the lake, but the monkeys weren't out. The tubing was very enjoyable--combination of a lazy river and some mild rapids; wonderful scenery. Pretty much the right duration. The river, though was fairly low, so you frequently got hung up on rocks. There were five "pushers" from the tubing company who worked hard to make sure everyone one kept going. Not sure if the river would be more free-flowing during the rainy season. Still, it was a very enjoyable experience. (The only issue is that we weren't expecting to be accompanied by the pushers and luckily we had enough cash on us for tips.) Went back to Grand Etang and our guide--despite his best efforts and those of the other guides there--weren't able to call out the monkeys. Then stopped at Annandale Falls. It's one of the "must-sees" in Grenada, though it is fairly touristy. The falls themselves are nice and you can swim there (though the water is cold). Again, our guide was very genial and even bought us all treats from a local roadside bakery. FYI, you don't need a change of clothes--just a bathing suit with a top or cover-up and water shoes, along with a towel. You'll be in the water for the tubing and, if you want, for the Falls. He'll have towels in the van as well.

More lazy river, than rapids but super enjoyable nonetheless! - Loved the crew and their enthusiasm! Wish there was more water for a faster and more thrilling experience but the staff entertained us and made it enjoyable for all.

Good fun, could be a thriller. - It's more of a lazy river adventure in the dry season where you have to keep moving yourself along as you get stuck on the riverbed. The organisers are great though and it was fun. However, in the season when the river lever is higher, I can imagine it to be a proper adrenaline thrill. Our driver was a lovely guy. Polite and friendly throughout and happy to talk about the island's areas and their history. We were the first to be picked up and the last to be dropped off and he was great to the end.
