• Tangol - Begin your tour with a convenient hotel pickup by an air-conditioned coach at 8am.
• El Rey National Park - Embark on an exciting 125-mile 4x4 journey into El Rey National Park. Travel along the Popayan Trail (45 minutes), a route that requires a 4x4 vehicle due to numerous stream and river crossings. Pause to admire the scenic views of the Popayan and La Sala Rivers, and keep an eye out for breams, catfish, goldfish, and shads inhabiting the waters.

Return to the trailhead, where you’ll enjoy a box lunch (included) amidst the stunning surroundings of the national park. After lunch, proceed north into the mountain jungle, where you may catch a glimpse of the park’s resident river otters. As you ascend to higher elevations, observe the changing vegetation, with unique high-altitude flora like cedars and laurels becoming more prevalent. Take time to explore the jungle habitat, home to wild pumas, tapirs, wild pigs, and various bird species.

• History Museum of the North - Start the return journey to Salta around 3:30pm, with an estimated hotel drop-off at approximately 6pm.
