- Mercado do Rio Vermelho - Get in touch with the baian soul by visiting a local market and interacting with people as tasting fruits or cachacas. Walking along the alleys of this traditional landmark of Salvador will allow us to feel the african influence so vibrant in the city that is 80% black! Mandioc and sugar cane, beans and a huge variety of candomble products that we will use in the ceremonies. If you want to go deep into the culture, this is an unforgettable experience.
- Dique de Tororo - Driving along the Dique to see the scuptures of the Orixas of the Candomble and learn about the religious syncretism in Bahia. Here also you will see the Arena Fontenova Stadium that we build for the Soccer World cup in 2014.
- Salvador - We will visit a community with its vibrant street art and astonishing views of All Saints Bay. The neighborhood is full of street art and is a special place where we can try some local seafood snacks (also they have other options on the menu) and sip some caipirinhas. This is an unique opportunity to delve into Salvador’s social reality.
- Palacete Das Artes Rodin Bahia - The Museum of Contemporary Art of Bahia (MAC Bahia) is one of Salvador’s most inspiring cultural spaces, located in the elegant historic building known as Palacete das Artes, in the charming neighborhood of Graça.
Dedicated to contemporary artistic expressions, the museum hosts temporary exhibitions, installations, and cultural events that highlight Brazilian creativity, diversity, and social dialogue. It is a great place to experience Salvador’s vibrant modern art scene while enjoying the beauty of a landmark architectural site.
From our lunch in the community, we will have a very pleasant walk to this magnificent place!

Next, it’s time to head to the Market, filled with vibrant colors and intense aromas. Guests will wander through the alleys and sample cachaças (the spicy, sweet, and fruity liquor distilled from fermented sugar cane). There are plenty of leaves used in Candomblé for traditional energy cleansing. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about palm oil, coconut milk, yuca flour, and various peppers used in local cuisine.
The following stop is a genuine community/favela to appreciate some popular street art. This area is renowned for its graffiti and social projects. The tour concludes with a delightful Afro-Bahian lunch/snacks (not included) by the seaside, offering a spectacular view and refreshing breeze from the bay!
