- Manaslu - We trek every day 6 to 7 hrs(more or less 15 kilometer per day). During hike we encounter amazing landscape, lush jungle, abundant of waterfalls, pristine flora & fauna, striking snow capped Himalayan surroundings etc. We reach 5160m over Larke Pass and descends to Bhimthang/Dharapani then back to Kathmandu/Pokhara by drive.

Exploring the less explored, newly opened, lush jungle, striking views of remarkable Himalayan vistas along with preserved Tibetan cultural are the perfect highlights of Manaslu circuit trek. After driving 7 hrs North west from Kathmandu the trek begins from Soti khola & provides us a rare opportunity of exploring the rural villages of Nepal as it was 50 years ago and many more natural beauties. The eighth tallest mountain in the world Mt. Manaslu 8163 m from the sea level & it’s Base Camp, Pungen Gumpa, open Tibet border Rui La 4998m and crossing the challenging Larke La 5160m make our trip exceptionally memorable. Standing at the top of the Larke La and observing only towering white Himalayas surroundings compensate our hard effort so far & won’t let you less joy than natural paradise. The best travel experience I have ever had - I just finished my trekking adventure with Nepal mountain adventure. Bimal worked perfectly around our limited days to build a perfect custom plan for our trek. We had Som Kumar Tamang as our trekking guide, we couldn’t have asked for anything more he was great in every way possible always extremely motivating with high positive energy and very funny. He solved all the minor problems with had effortlessly and I recommend you ask for Som on your next trekking adventure.

Wonderful!! - Just returned from a fantastic trip doing the 12 day Manaslu Circuit and would strongly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts! Rajesh was very helpful and contactable when organising the trip, and clearly goes above and beyond for his clients. We felt safe in Kathmandu and on the trek despite the recent unrest. Our guide Rabin was knowledgeable, funny, and an all round great guy. Our porters Gakul and Padam were lovely and so strong. I'll definitely be recontacting Rajesh at Nepal Trekking Experts to organise another trek in the future :)

They went above and beyond to make the experience exceptional. They are well organised, flexible and full of humour and warmth. I highly recommend Himalayan Master's trekking company.

Unforgettable Manaslu trek! - Nepal Trekking Experts were absolutely incredible! We were there last week during the protests in Kathmandu and felt completely safe and well looked after the whole time. We did the Manaslu Circuit Trek, which was an unforgettable experience. Rajesh was fantastic, always quick to respond, clear with communication, and helpful with all of our questions. Our guide, Arjun, was wonderful too! Very positive, supportive, and so much fun to be around. Mahesh, our porter, was kind and helpful every step of the way. In the evenings, they both made time to play cards with us, and sing and dance which made the trip more memorable. I couldn’t recommend Nepal Trekking Experts more! Thank you so much for everything!

Manaslu Circuit Trek with Resham - After a last year’s Everest Base Camp Trek we once again turned to Nepal Trekking Experts for a trekking adventure in Nepal. (Manaslu Circuit Trek this year). When booking a trip, we specifically asked for Resham Neupane to be our guide on Manaslu Circuit Trek, since we already completed EBC Trek with him last time and since then we became friends with him. Resham is an excellent guide, fully fluent in English and always eager to show you the most of what the itinerary offers and many times even more. When the weather allowed it (it luckily did as we had a pretty good weather during the trek), he always wanted us to see and experience everything to the fulllest. Compared to other groups with guides from other companies, with Resham we completed all planned side trips (Pung Gyen Gompa, Manaslu Base Camp and Tibet-Nepal border) without problems and with excellent time managment. Resham truly has years of experience and by his own words, he has already been to all the major Nepali trek countless times, what proves his ability to make your trek truly exceptional.
About the trek alone, the itinerary is just perfect. The scenery changes every day as you gradually ascend from lush jungles to high altitude villages and Larke Pass itself. This trek is however about so much more that just hiking. Thanks to its remoteness and less commercial nature, the treks lets you see many scenes of a traditional way of mountain life, cultural influences and so much more.
When booking another trek in Nepal, I would gladly turn back to Nepal Trekking Experts and I highly recommend you to do the same.

Amazing Manaslu Circuit Experience - We recently finished the Manaslu Circuit Trek. Cannot recommend these guys enough! Rajesh was prompt in his communication and catered to our requests. He was very pleasant to deal with over email, and in person. We were lucky enough to be assigned Lok (guide) and Padam (porter) for the hike. Lok is one of the kindest and most experience guides we have met. He has been working as a guide for over 20 years, and his experience really shows. We felt safe and supported throughout the hike. He also was great at pre-booking us the nicest teahouses in advance, and is a handy card player. Padam was also great - once his English improves a bit, he will make a great guide as well. Thanks guys for a truly memorable trip, we really appreciate it!

Outstanding Experience with Nepal Trekking Experts – Highly Recommended! - From start to finish, my trip with Nepal Trekking Experts was absolutely flawless. The service and support I received before, during, and even after the journey were truly outstanding.
Rajesh took the time to answer all my questions in great detail before the trip, making me feel well-informed and comfortable from the very beginning. Throughout the entire experience, I felt incredibly well looked after.
Our guide Hari was fantastic – not only was he very experienced, but also incredibly entertaining and funny. He made sure we were always safe, comfortable, and having a great time. There was never a moment when something was missing – he took care of everything with ease and a great sense of humor.
A special highlight of the excellent service: I forgot my sleeping bag at the airport on my return flight. Rajesh immediately sent a colleague to the airport, who actually found it and returned it to me. That kind of dedication is rare and speaks volumes about their commitment to their guests.
The value for money was also excellent – high-quality service at a fair price. I can wholeheartedly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in Nepal.

Completely inmersive and well organized trek in the Manaslu region with the outstanding Nepal Trekking Experts team. - A group of five of us completed a 14 day tour of the Manaslu Circuit in the first half of May 2025 with Nepal Trekking Experts. The trip was a complete success, with all additional side trips (Pungen Gompa, Manaslu Base Camp, Birendra Lake, Rui La and the Tibetan Border, as well as some optional extra exploration), successfully completed, in addition to the full circuit.
The weather was excellent, despite being this late in the season, and we had outstanding views of Manaslu, as well as Himalchuli, Ngadichuli, Bhauda Himal, Pongkar, Pangpoche I, and Larkya Peak, to name a few). The trek was surprisingly and thankfully uncrowded owing to the relative lateness of the season.
The professional and friendly trekking team looked after our every need and the trip was seamless. The way that the team conducted the trek meant that everyone was well acclimatized by the time we were due to cross the Larke La pass. There was also plenty of time for additional exploration around each of the overnight locations, both in the early morning and afternoon. This allowed for more time to search for wildlife and immerse oneself in the local culture. We saw almost 160 species of birds and eight species of mammal.
Attention to small details really added to the trip, such as nightly fresh fruit for dessert (carried up by the team), good quality and well-located accommodation chosen throughout, and warm and clean sleeping bags provided. Having insight into the local culture and history by our extremely knowledgeable guide, Pratap, added significantly to the trip.
A big thank you to our on-trek team, ably led by Pratap, and the porters Santosh, Chhoung, and Padam, as well as the team behind the scenes in Kathmandu.

Manaslu Trek with Nepal Trekking Experts - From the first email enquiry to Nepal Trekking Experts until our final meeting with Rajesh before flying home, we received exceptional service. Our Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley Trek was tailored to our needs and expertly organized so that all we had to do was enjoy the experience. Our incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful guide, Sudarson ensured we were well fed, warm, fit and healthy and safe every day of the trek and we could not have gone the distance without Chandra, our very supportive porter. When we requested to change our itinerary towards the end of the trek, Rajesh and Sudarson were both very responsive and flexible, and took care of everything.
This was our third trek in Nepal but our first with Nepal Trekking Experts. We have no hesitation in recommending Nepal Trekking Experts and we will certainly book with Rajesh again in the future if we return for more.
The Manaslu region and Tsum Valley did not disappoint. The spectacular scenery and authentic cultural immersion was everything we have hoped for. Highlights: Tsum Valley, Serang Gumpa, the walk south from Bimthang.

Manaslu Trek with Nepal Trekking Experts - What a great experience doing the Manaslu Trek with Nepal Trekking Experts. Everything was made so easy, the website is a great source of information, the clothing guide is most one should take and what to take. Rajesh was prompt in responding to all queries, within 48 hours but mostly 24 hours. The Trek was made so enjoyable with our guide Arjun and assistan Padam, mountain Men, who ensured all our needs were met and would bring in the last person. Provided information and entertained. The start accomodation was in the heart of Thamel, great for eating and shopping. Rajesh held a pre-trek review, ensuring we were prepared as munch as could be. The overall cost was value for money.
