Living history & great food - I had my sister and her wife in town, and my adult children visiting too, so a food tour sounded like a fun option for us! I’d been to Chinatown many times but never understood it like this, or tried so many unique dishes in one day. Our guide Marcy made the trip fun and kept things moving at a good pace - I especially liked her visual storytelling style. Take this tour even if you have been coming to Chinatown your whole life. :-)

Food & History!!! - Great Experience! Robin was knowledgeable, careful with us on an unusually hot day, and explained so many San Francisco Chinatown "secrets" . It was a foodie & a history tour. Would do again on our next visit.

Awesome tour! - Amazing food tour with a touch of history. So much more food than I was expecting. Absolutely the best way to experience Chinatown for an incredibly reasonable price. Robin was our guide and she is awesome!

Grateful for a new lens on a beautiful neighborhood! - I’d been to Chinatown - but now I feel like I really see it and have a new appreciation. We ate some delicious and very plentiful Dim Sum to start and learned about its Silk Road roots, and then saw the fortune cookie factory, had the best fruit tea of my life, learned all about the history of the neighborhood before and after the 1906 Earthquake, and saw where the famous tong wars happened. My favorite part was climbing up to a Taoist temple - I was glad that they told us how to be respectful there. After some duck, epic green beans, and noodles, the tea and dessert was a great way to round it out.

The Best Day I've Spent in San Francisco - I had the most amazing time ever! It was the best way to start the year. I had delicious food, walked, laughed too much, and spent the best day with friends and our tour guide. Life really doesn't get better than that! One of the highlights of this year for sure. Our tour guide's name was Ginger in case anyone wanted to know.

Great food tour in Chinatown - Fantastic time today in Chinatown with Stretchy Pants. Four delicious food stops, and some great history. We learned about the first Chinese immigrants and ate great Cantonese food. Our guide Jacob introduced us to a lot of the shop owners and we got to hear about their lives. The highlight was the tea tasting at the end. Learning about all the different teas and meeting the owner who runs many restaurants in Chinatown. Highly recommend.

Overpriced & under delivered - This is not a reflection on our tour guide, He was great! Advertised as multi-stop including fortune cookie factory and 30 minute tea tasting. The fortune cookie tour is free to the public, this would be okay if we got special access or jump the line. We did not. The line was long so we just looked in as we walked by, never went inside or even tried a fortune cookie. Advertised as "Let's sample a cookie (or five)" The tea tasting is also free to the public. We showed up and the store was not expecting us, they were doing an ongoing tasting and did not have seats for us. We tried 4 teas. Thought this would be a personal and educational experience, but was a rushed public sales event. Overall very disappointed and not worth the cost.
