Awesome Food! Awesome Guide! - I would highly recommend this tour for not only a great sampling of Italian food in San Francisco’s North Beach, but also to get an interesting 3 hour history lesson of the city and the food/locations you are experiencing. Michael was a terrific tour guide and was engaging with our entire group of 7 (including 2 teenagers). He made an effort to learn a bit about everyone in his group and then weaved this knowledge into the stories he told about the city. He even surprise special ordered fettuccine Alfredo extra for my daughter because she had mentioned earlier in the tour that it was her favorite. Amazing experience!

Stories, flavors and sights, oh my! - Mike gave us a delightful tour around North Beach that left our feet a little tired, our bellies and taste buds satisfied, and our hearts and minds full of the stories and characters that make up this town’s history and flavor. There were just 2 of us on the adventure with him, and he gave us so much attention and answered all our questions so thoughtfully. What a great re-introduction to San Francisco!

All around great experience - Excellent tour. Great balance of SF history (I've lived here all my life and learned new stuff today), nice variety of food tastings and a very kind, great tour guide Albert. Really gave us a very favorable impression of North Beach. San Francisco was gorgeous! Really good eats too! Highly recommend this tour if you like food.

Yummy Italian Food! - We had a great time exploring North Beach. I always enjoy learning the history of an area and an added bonus of this tour was going to the top of a parking deck and seeing a wonderful view of San Francisco and learning about what we were seeing. The food was excellent and the time went by quickly. We came home with lots of good food souvenirs from area shops! I would definitely recommend the guide Michael and the tour overall :)

A worthy, educational and filling foray - My wife and I took the tour as part of our anniversary weekend. Another couple was scheduled to join but had to cancel, so we had Spud all to ourselves. He was a fantastic guide, charismatic and, in large part owing to his journalism background, super knowledgeable about the area's history and quirks. As I have a similar professional history, it made for an easy rapport. All the food stops were excellent and, because the other couple had to cancel, we ended up with all sorts of extra food. Can't be mad at that.

So FUN and Delicious! - This was our first Food Tour, it was so much fun! Good food, friendly group and wonderful guide, Michael. We learned so much about San Francisco and we've lived in the bay area for 30+ years. We totally enjoyed it and would highly recommend it. We'll do another one for sure!
