• La Fortaleza - Palacio de Santa Catalina - La Fortaleza serves as the official residence of the governor of Puerto Rico. Constructed between 1533 and 1540, it was designed to protect the harbor of San Juan. It is the oldest executive mansion in continuous use in the New World and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.
