Arrival Day - Teotihuacán
Zona Arqueológica Teotihuacán - The group will gather at the designated meeting point to explore Teotihuacán, a pyramidal site acknowledged by UNESCO as a cultural heritage site. Teotihuacán was a central hub for one of the most influential Mesoamerican societies, impacting political, economic, commercial, religious, and cultural domains. Afterwards, participants will be transported to accommodations in Huamantla.
Malinche Hike (4,400m)
Volcán La Malinche - The group will ascend Malinche, the fifth highest peak in Mexico. It is located three hours from Mexico City. The night will be spent at the lodging in Huamantla.
Visit Huamantla and Stay at Iztaccíhuatl
Huamantla - The day will be spent exploring the historic city of Huamantla, recognized as a “Magical” Town of Mexico. Later, the group will camp overnight at the Iztaccíhuatl volcano.
Ascent to the Iztaccíhuatl Volcano (5,200m)
Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl National Park - The group will climb the Iztaccíhuatl volcano, the third highest peak in Mexico. This stunning mountain features two glaciers and, while not highly technical, demands excellent physical fitness due to its altitude and the duration required to reach the summit. The group will then travel to Puebla for an overnight stay.
Visit Cholula
Cholula - The group will explore the historic city of Cholula, Puebla. This city was constructed on the remnants of a significant indigenous city, where various temples were built, later replaced by Catholic temples. The night will be spent again in Puebla.
Trip to Piedra Grande
Pico De Orizaba - The group will journey to Piedra Grande, an alpine lodge situated at 4,260 meters above sea level, ideal for rest and acclimatization. The night will be spent in the shelter or a tent, depending on availability. An acclimatization walk will be included.
Climb Pico Orizaba (5,700m)
Pico De Orizaba - The group will ascend Pico de Orizaba, the highest peak in Mexico. Known as the pinnacle of Mexico, this mountain offers a comprehensive climbing experience, beginning with a sandbank, followed by a rocky area known as “the labyrinth,” and culminating with the magnificent Jamapa glacier leading to the summit. Afterwards, the group will return to their accommodations in Mexico City.

Iztaccíhuatl is a beautiful mountain with two glaciers, and although it is not a highly technical mountain, it does require excellent physical condition due to the height and the time it will take to reach the top.
The Pico de Orizaba, the tip of Mexico, is one of the most complete mountains that our country has. This volcano will let you appreciate the magnificent Jamapa glacier that will take us to the top.
