Highly recommended! - Jesus was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Day of the Dead and the multicultural environment of San Miguel de Allende. We were lucky to visit the crypt as it was only open one weekend every year. We had a great time and we highly recommend the tour to anyone looking to learn more about the festival and beyond.

So so - giving it an extra store because the guy was very nice and friendly... however the English version was very difficult to understand from you at least. if you understand Spanish I would definitely opt for the Spanish version. Don't know if there's different guides but the one we had was difficult to understand. The walk wasn't too bad has some people in the group did not want to walk too much ... they are older. for the most part... it goes around the main square and small market. a lot of that you can see on your own but it's really the little historical stories that you would want to go for but if you do go I would stay very close to the guy to try to better understand what they were saying. there was a free water included at the start and a very small treat in the middle portion.
