Embark on an exceptional 2-hour snorkeling adventure aboard a completely safe, comfortable, and enjoyable glass-bottom boat. Enjoy a refreshing beer, soft drink, or purified water included in the tour. Explore three remarkable shallow reefs just a short boat ride from downtown Cozumel, accompanied by a friendly and bilingual guide. All snorkeling equipment will be provided at the beginning of the tour. Choose from morning, noon, or afternoon departure times.
- A minimum of 2 adults per booking is required
- Arrive 30 minutes before the departure time
- Recommended items: shoes which can get wet, biodegradable sunscreen, bathing suit under clothes, extra t-shirt to protect yourself while swimming, towel and dry changing clothes
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 18 years
- $11 USD per passenger need to be paid in cash for the Marine and Pier fees
- For mainland passengers: Remember this activity starts at Cozumel. We recommend you arrive at the ferry pier in Playa del Carmen an hour before your ferry departs so that you can make it on time. If you fail to show up on time and miss the ferry, we won’t be able to help you and can’t provide a refund.
- For cruise ship passengers: This activity follows Cozumel Time which is not always the same as your cruise ship’s time. Please be mindful of this.

Excellent tour! - We had a WONDERFUL time today on our snorkeling tour. When we arrived at the meeting point, my daughter and I were the only two there. We offered to not do the tour since there were not more people there and it would not be monetarily beneficial for the company. The owner of the business insisted that we still go. The water was extremely rough but we never felt unsafe with our tour team - Captain Carlos and Guides Miguel & Santiago. Captain Carlos and Santiago were always on watch for other boats while we were in the water. Miguel was an incredible guide. He was patient, was alert and kept watch for us the entire time! We saw many fish, coral, a starfish, a lionfish and other sea life. When we were stung by jellyfish, they also had supplies to take the sting away. Because of the extremly rough water at their pier, they instead took us to a harbour to disembark the boat to make sure we were safe. The owner of the business then kindly drove us back to the cruise terminal in his personal vehicle. We are SO thankful for the amazing crew and service we received today! THANK YOU SAFE TOURS COZUMEL - We will see you again in the future!!!

Boat is small but... - Boat is small but comfortable. The staff was the best. Made the entire trip a lot of fun. We had three stops for snorkeling. All different where we saw different fish. It was a fun two hours

Good clear waters. One of the best in the Caribbean and the guides were great - Good clear waters. One of the best in the Caribbean and the guides were great and knowledgeable. Only 2 of us for the 2 hour tour so we basically had a private boat

Tour guide was great at... - Tour guide was great at keeping people together and pointing out sea life. Small boat meant we had a small group easy to keep together and swim out but it was a little bumpy getting on and off. Generous with beverages and pointing out creatures to kids who stayed on the boat.

Great Snorkeling with SafeTours Cozumel - We had a wonderful snorkeling trip with SafeTours Cozumel. Arturo was a gracious host. The meeting place was just a few steps from the International Pier where our ship docked. Carlos, Miguel, and Santiago did a great job navigating to the snorkeling sites and outfitting everyone with needed equipment. Miguel was absolutely amazing with his ability to dive down 45 feet or more to point out interesting fish and corals. The crew made sure we had refreshing, non-alcoholic drinks along the way. The tour was just the perfect amount of time in the water. Highly recommend!

Great snorkeling excursion! - This was a great snorkeling tour with a small group. We snorkeled three different areas with only 7 people which was great! We were able to see reefs and colorful fish. The guides were very safety conscious.
