Puritama Canyon Trekking: Enjoy Natural Pools and Local Vegetation in a Breathtaking Canyon

Hidden Tour in San Pedro - This trekking is quite interesting. It crosses a canyon through which runs the waters that come from the puritama spa, forming natural pools. The place is pretty, but don't expect hot waters like the original thermas, because by the time you get there, they've lost heat and are practically cold (but not frozen). Usually this tour is done along with the waterfall of Guadin, which also receives the waters of Puritama, which also arrive there freezely. But the place is pretty too.

Ok if you are on a budget - Beautiful scenery, nice walk, but I went to the official springs last time I came here (years ago though!) and wished I’d done the same this time. These are lower down, colder, and the small pools had already been picked by other groups. Having said that it’s a good economic choice, we still managed to get our own little shallow pool.
