Upon arriving for my demo on the Trek Slash 8 I was greeted by the owner as I entered the store and the bike was ready to go. The mechanic installed my pedals, did a quick parking lot spin to make sure everything was good, and sent me on my way. I did a 24 mile ride with just over 4,000 feet of climbing. The bike was a great climber with very efficient pedaling, snappy in the corners and very easy to get off the ground. This was a great demo experience.

The bike was in good shape and I got some good tips on local trails from the employees who helped me. They alo sent me with a spare tube and pump which was kind. The only issue was the water bottle holder on the bike was weak plastic so I kept my bottle in my bag. Just be prepared or ask for a different bottle cage if you want have a bag.
