Best hiking experience in Colombia! - I had an amazing experience hiking to Teyuna (Ciudad Perdida). The landscape is simply magical. Every step of the hike was so rewarding, behind every corner was a new fascinating view. My experience with Expottur was extraordinary. You can't ask for anything more. Our guide Cesar Jr. gave us so much information about the history of this special place, about the indigenous people who live in balance with nature in the area to this day and of yourse he was always up for a good joke. Juan Carlos did a great job as a translator and helped us with all questions we had. If you want to hike for 4 days, you need to be well fortified. Our cook Jesus F. took excellent care of this. Of all the groups in the camp, we were always the first to be fed. A thousand thanks Jesus!!! Santiago also supported us with everything and was a great help. One day I would like to return to Teyuna and hope that I can repeat the same tour with the same friends from Expoturs! Everyone who is able to run 8-10 k won't have an issue with the hike. What could be challenging for some people is the humidity.

Absolute memorable adventure! - We recently went to this fantastic trip. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. The food that our chef Ledys prepared always fresh was absolutely delicious a real taste of the local cuisine. Our guide Camacho was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable with his great sense of humor. Our translator Carlos was just as amazing – super friendly, accurate, and also really funny. Both of them made sure everyone felt included and had a great time. This trip was not only well-planned but also full of laughter and unforgettable moments. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, high-quality, and memorable adventure!

Pony Group - The Ciudad Perdida trek with Expo Tour was an amazing experience! The guides were impeccable — always available, attentive, and ready to meet all our needs. Visiting the Lost City made the whole trip unforgettable. Highly recommended! We were lucky to have guides like Heberth, Jorge, and Joel from Expotour, who showed us the Sierra Nevada in a truly authentic way. Thanks to them, we always reached each stop first, allowing us to enjoy the landscapes with no one else around but our group.

Challenging but truly rewarding. Hiking with the best guide! - This was truly one of the most adventurous and rewarding experiences I've had. Thanks to our incredible guide, Eucario, our group (vamos Mangostinos!) was always the first to arrive at the camping, rivers, waterfalls, and even Ciudad Perdida itself — giving us the rare chance to enjoy these stunning places in complete peace. Eucario’s deep experience, passion for the trek, and captivating storytelling about the region and its people made the journey even more special. The hike itself is no easy feat — full of steep climbs, descents, and plenty of mud when it rains — but every challenge only made reaching the top and completing the trek feel even more satisfying. Be prepared for more basic camping conditions, sharing campsites with dozens of other hikers, and embracing the occasional bug or frog encounter in the toilets. The food throughout the trek was a huge highlight as well. We were always well-fed with a variety of delicious, nutritious meals thanks to our cook Fredy — breakfast, lunch, and dinner were consistently hearty and satisfying. Fruit and snacks were also provided along the way to keep our energy up. I especially loved the grilled, crusty fish — a real treat after a long day of hiking! Beyond the breathtaking scenery and the sense of achievement, one of the best parts was meeting so many fellow adventurers and forming genuine connections. If you're looking for a real adventure filled with nature, history, and camaraderie, the Ciudad Perdida trek is absolutely worth it!

100% recommended - Very good experience and very well organized by the Eucharist guide (Macario for friends) and John the helper. You can tell they are very eager and interested in the culture and history of the lost city. This is a four-day hard trek I would recommend. In addition, the difference of expotur is that one of the hostels is managed by them and is better than the rest of the operators.

Best Company to go to The Lost City - Definitely one of the most amazing experiences for adventure travelers. A fantastic journey trekking through the Colombian rainforest to reach the stunning Lost City. The staff, service and logistics of Expotur are exceptional. The guides (Sixto, Eucario and John) are super kind and knowledgeable, very well prepared and adaptive to the group, covering all individual needs and going beyond expectations. The cook Luz is amazing and puts together delicious and consistent meals to endure the long trek. She makes everyone happy. The campsites are super well set in strategic points. They have all you need and more to be comfortable, rest and recharge everyday. All the staff of Expotur made sure we had all we needed all the time and made sure we had the best experience every step of the way. It's not an easy trek and i wouldnt go with anyone else.

Highlight of my Colombia trip! - Four entire days of hiking and carrying everything in my own backpack was a first for me, so I hoped for a good guide who would motivate and help me along the way. Turns out, "good" is an understatement - Camacho was the BEST! Together with our translator Carlos and cook Ismael, Camacho made this an unforgettable experience. The Lost City is stunning but the magic happens along the way. It's the landscape, the constant exercise, chats with your amazing group and delicious snacks and meals that make this experience so special. I'm sure other tour operators are also great, but in my opinion Expotour is the best choice - as they are one of the very first ones, they always got the nicest spots in the camps.

Great 4 days trekking - Great hike with very beautiful surroundings. César, my guide, had many years of experience. He had a fast rhythm walking, which for me it was important. He also shared many stories of the lost city beginnings and indigenous tribes. He knows everyone and everyone knows him!
