The guided tour proceeds to the Colonial City of Santo Domingo, where visitors can explore the Museum of the Royal Houses and the National Pantheon, followed by a visit to Plaza de España, home to the iconic Alcázar de Colón.
Next, the tour visits the Primate Cathedral of America, also known as the Basilica Minor de Santa Maria de la Encarnación. Did you know it was the first cathedral in the New World? Incredible! After admiring this temple, commissioned by Charles V, the tour moves to the oldest European-built fort in America: the Ozama Fortress.
