• Sunset Hill Park - This location offers a stunning view of the water and mountains. On a clear day, visitors can see the Olympic Mountains, West Point Lighthouse, and ferries crossing the Sound. The sounds of seals barking can be heard, and cargo and tugboats can be seen floating by. The operator shares all they know about Seattle in 10 minutes, highlighting some of the most charismatic creatures inhabiting the waterways.
• Ballard - The Ballard Locks rank as Seattle’s third most popular attraction. Visitors can walk their bikes through the Carl English Botanical Gardens before observing boats passing through the locks. Opened in 1917, the locks connect saltwater to the freshwater of Lake Washington. It is the busiest lock in the United States and is popular with migrating salmon, as well as seals, sea lions, eagles, and ospreys seeking an easy meal. There is a fish ladder with an underwater viewing gallery.
• Fishermen’s Terminal - Seattle’s history is deeply rooted in the fishing industry, and the Fishermen’s Terminal is the place to see real fishermen and fisherwomen, along with the Alaskan fishing fleet. Half of all seafood sold in the United States is associated with this marina. Visitors can ride electric bikes down the docks to get close to the boats. The operator explains how salmon fishing works and why Alaskan fishermen spend the off-season in Seattle instead of staying in Alaska.
• Wallingford Center - Not the center itself, but Gasworks Park in the Wallingford neighborhood is a favorite spot for taking pictures and watching fireworks on the 4th of July. Once a gasification plant, the old machinery remains. There is a great view of the city, the Space Needle, and the operator points out the “Sleepless in Seattle” houseboat.

The e-bikes turn a three-hour long tour into a breeze. You’ll easily ascend Seattle’s hills with a smile on your face. Post-tour, you’ll have witnessed many distinctive sights, broadened your understanding of the local waterways, fauna of the Sound, and various neighborhoods, and will have had a delightful and unforgettable Seattle-centric experience. The e-bikes allow for an up-close glimpse of the gardens, boat docks, and more. Your tour guide is a local and Seattle is my place of upbringing. I have served in Seattle schools and truly care about the city’s natural sites, and continue to augment my knowledge of the area. The helmets come equipped with an intercom system for easy communication while biking. Your safety is our concern, thus we mainly stick to bike trails and less busy roads. I charge per bike, but no charges apply for children who ride at the back of the cargo bike.
