Immersive culinary experience - Highly recommend. We had a great time with Janne, she's super friendly and took good care of us. The food was delicious, we tried various dishes from different parts of China. Interesting and immersive experience

Hidden Gems and Diverse Range of Foods - Janne was our host, who was super knowledgable and personable. The restaurant selection was varied and we were taken on a tour through China in flavours and cooking styles that touched on various regions, all within walking distance.
I tried soup dumplings for the first time, that were incredible. So light, fluffy and rich in flavour! Each stop showcased fantastic food options and we ate so many different dishes over the course of the tour!

Must do food tour for vegetarians in Shanghai - Highly recommended must do tour! Hope was a fantastic tour guide and explained many cultural and other interesting facts along the way. I am vegetarian and ate like a king and I would never have found this food on my own. Thanks Hope!

Culinary Tour of China - This tour was an awesome way to taste food from across China, from the familiar- meat skewers and roast duck- to the first-time- fried locusts and preserved eggs- all sooo good! The tour was well run & offered a wide variety of food and drink. Hope was an excellent tour guide- coordinating every stop and answering our questions. Great way to experience Shanghai and try foods I would have never known how to order. Highly recommend. Bring your appetite!

A great evening out - Our family had a wonderful time with Hope and a very friendly visitor from the US (who was going on a bar tour afterwards!) The tour was a very good mix of food and locations, I enjoyed the simplest- a street food stall- the best. I would definitely recommend it.

Love from Colorado and Sweden - Not only was the food amazing our host was too. Li was very informative, fun to talk to and very engaging! If you want to see a side of Shanghai that you might be too nervous to try on your own cause you don’t speak the language, want to find some incredible food or just have the opportunity to meet others who have the same curious or foodie appetite than this is your tour!

Great way of discovering Chinee cuisine and meet peple - Hope was a lovely guide. Happy, enthusiastic and always in for a good conversation. The food was great and varied, and so were the drinks. I only missed eating in a traditional home (which was part of the Beijing UNfood tour). But would certainly recommend it
