A Must-Do Tour in Split! - We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the *Emperor's Walk for History Lovers* boutique tour with Joško! From start to finish, Joško made the history of Split come alive with his passion, deep knowledge, and engaging storytelling. You can really tell he loves what he does — and it shows in the way he connects with everyone on the tour. He gave us fascinating insights into the city’s Roman past, showed us hidden gems we never would’ve discovered on our own, and answered all of our questions with patience and enthusiasm. It felt personal, authentic, and far from the typical touristy experience. If you're visiting Split and want to truly understand the heart of the city, this tour is an absolute must. Thank you so much, Joško — we’re so happy we joined and will definitely recommend you to anyone coming this way!

Ancient Split Brought to Life - We didn’t book on line but found our guide Joško standing inside the gate to the Palace with a sign advertising a 1.5 hour history tour, so we weren’t sure what to expect. It turned out to be a great decision as the tour was amazing and surpassed our expectations. Joško was born in Split and had an in-depth knowledge of the history of Croatia, Split and the palace. His English was excellent, he was witty and informative. We were visiting from New Zealand and highly recommend this tour.

Entertaining, informative tour - This was an excellent tour from a very knowledgeable guide. Josko took our small group to way more places than we ever would have experienced in and around Diocletian's Palace in Split. It is a small area, but it is so packed with nooks and crannies and laden with details that a visit without a guide doesn't give you nearly the level of understanding a knowledgeable guide can. Josko is a native of the city, and he knows Split through and through. He shares his vast knowledge in a way that is informative and entertaining. I highly recommend this tour and Josko as a guide. He's great.

Great tour, knowledgeable guide - Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. I learned way more than I would have if I tried to self guide my way through the city and sights. Definitely worth it! I recommend doing it early in your stay so that you have a good basis as you continue your time in Split!

Fantastic tour of Split and its history - Josko was a fantastic guide! He was full of interesting facts/information/history. The palace substucture was first in the cool, followed by the streets of Split out in the sun but Josko found as much shade as possible, and included water breaks. Very knowledgeable local guide. Highly recommended if you want a small group tour of Split's history including some fun facts.
