Since 2016, these award-winning, authentic, and exciting walking tours for history enthusiasts have provided a unique blend of history, discoveries, and fun. They are led by licensed resident guides (‘Emperors’) with PhDs or Master’s degrees in History, Archaeology, and Economics. These guides are Split natives who have lived through significant historical periods, such as Communism and the Homeland War, and possess deep local knowledge of Dalmatia, the oldest and most beautiful region of Croatia. On this tour, participants will explore the Old Medieval Town, featuring the spectacular Palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian, built in AD 305 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. A visit to the Museum of Basement Halls (Cellars), the best-preserved part of Diocletian’s Palace, is another fantastic addition to this tour.
