Udawalawe National Park Safari
Udawalawe National Park - Located in southern Sri Lanka, Udawalawe National Park was established in 1972 to safeguard wildlife affected by the creation of the Udawalawe Reservoir. The park is renowned for its significant population of Asian elephants, often seen in large numbers near the reservoir. Its open grasslands and scrubland provide an excellent environment for observing elephants and other wildlife such as leopards, sambar deer, and water buffaloes. Additionally, the park serves as a vital bird sanctuary, hosting over 180 species, and features the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, a center for rehabilitating orphaned elephant calves.
Elephant Transit Home (ETH) - The Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home (ETH) is a government-operated facility in Sri Lanka dedicated to rehabilitating orphaned and abandoned elephant calves, with the aim of releasing them back into the wild. Visitors can observe the young elephants being fed milk and a power mix at designated times from a viewing platform. This initiative is part of a program to reintegrate juveniles into the Udawalawe National Park ecosystem, with the hope that they will eventually join wild herds.
Ella
Ravana Ella Falls - Ravana Falls is a picturesque, multi-tiered waterfall in Sri Lanka, standing about 25 meters tall. Named after King Ravana, it is located near the town of Ella and is easily accessible from the main road. Surrounded by lush greenery, it is a popular stop for tourists.
Nine Arches Bridge - The Nine Arch Bridge is a colonial-era railway viaduct in Ella, Sri Lanka, known for its nine graceful arches, lush green surroundings, and significance in the popular Kandy-to-Ella train route. The well-marked trail combines paths and stairs, taking about 15-20 minutes to reach the summit at a steady pace, and is favored for both sunrise and sunset.

Damro Labookellie Tea Centre and Tea Garden - The Damro Labookellie Tea Factory is a historic tea production center in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, offering tours to learn about the tea-making process and a tea lounge for tastings and purchases. Set in a picturesque location, the tours cover the grading, drying, and conditioning of tea leaves, with many visitors enjoying the tea and cake tasting that concludes the experience.
