Great way to see some great Alsace villages - We were overall very pleased with this tour. Mainly, it is a way to see 4 Alsace villages from Strasbourg without having to drive yourself. Our driver though friendly spoke very little English and was not a guide. It was in a Mercedes van and there were 12 total visitors. The first village (Ribeauville) was OK but the other 3 were very beautiful. We went just before Christmas Day, so the villages were decorated and it was spectacular. The wine tasting was at a local producer. It was intimate and we learned some things about the process to produce wine. In hindsight I think I would have preferred to skip the first stop and give the extra time to the other stops.

Independently view the sights - It was just as we like it, the bus took us to the towns. Driver said where and when is the pickup and we could go on our own tempo.

Enjoying the Mediaeval Alsace Tour - This was an excellent way to visit the Alsace region without driving. The towns visited were a great example of the area. The wine tasting experience was informative. Our driver, Martin, was on time and a safe driver. He gave instructions at each stop throughout the day for pick up time and location.

A great day of wine and history - A great tour through some beautiful Alsatian villages. The bus was amazing - being able to open it up and drive in the open air was fantastic ( we had such great weather!). Our driver Martin was great! All around a great day.

Colorful Quaint Medieval Memories - This was a really well planned and executed tour! Mathew our guide greeted each of us and then handed each of us a sheet with maps of our 5 stops. On each map of 5 cities, there were streets and numbered places of sights to see. So even though we toured the city ourselves, we had a map to find our way and knew what to see in each town. Along the drive, we had headphones with pre-recorded information about the area and its cultural history... from 7th century to post world war II. My only comment here is.. the headphones were kid size and wouldn't fit my head! I thought the time in each location (including a couple of drive-by stops) was adequate with the exception of the first one.....we could have used at least another 30 minutes there as the street from end to end was long. Let me not forget the most important thing... the places we stopped. I didn;t know that complete towns of medieval houses existed...but on this tour we found at least 3! All well-maintained and colorful...so very interesting to view. Plenty of local charm with restaurants, bakeries and shops also. Aside from the hour to get there from Strasbourg, you'll enjoy every minute of this tour!

Lovely part of the world! - A great opportunity to visit multiple villages and explore. There was little by way of interpretation beyond a recorded historical summary that played as we approached the towns; the driver/guide provided no additional information. We had done some research in advance which I would recommend to get full value out of this experience.

Many beautiful villages... - Many beautiful villages were visited and there was plenty of time to wander around them. However, one should have chosen a better vineyard for the tasting, yes preferably two wine tastings.
