Worth the price! - Wonderful experience with our guide Jan. The views were amazing (lucked out on weather) and Jan's explanation of what we were seeing was super interesting and informative. Highlight of our Iceland trip!

Lost the whole day waiting for the tour, it's impossible to ask for a refund as it has third agencies - Due to severe weather conditions, including heavy snowfall and road closures, we contacted the agency both via email and through website starting the day before (March 23) to request a cancellation or a modification of our booking, as it was not possible for us to arrive on time from Reykjavik. We specifically asked to reschedule the tour time given the circumstances. We were advised to maintain the reservation, as road conditions were expected to improve on March 24. We did our best to proceed accordingly and we informed that we would arrive slightly late due to the delays. We had no answer about it. However, upon arrival, the tour had already departed. Through the official email channel, we were then advised to wait from 10:20 AM until 2:30 PM to join a later tour. We followed these instructions, but when the guides arrived at that time, we were informed that no further tours would take place that day or the following day. As a result, we were unable to participate in the tour and lost an entire day of our trip waiting for a solution or a clear response from your team. At the Skaftafell service point, the staff informed us that a full refund would be approved and advised us to submit this request via email. Although, we've asked for the refund via email, chat bot, website, this tour is operated by a third agency called VIATOR that doesn't have the formal canal to ask for the refund. Planning a tour in Iceland can change during the journey and we completely understand it, but if the official canal tells us to wait almost 4 hours to get another tour we expect them to have the complete and correct information for us. We waited, we lost the day because of the wrong advice and now we have no official cannal to ask for a total refund as we were told by the tour agency in the place.
