Mike is the best. - Bought this experience for my husband's birthday - I certainly benefitted too! Mike's knowledge of the industry, operations & processes of the SFM were incredible and he kept us on our toes with multiple samplings - seafood to cheese to baked goods to ice cream & olive oil! Mike always had comprehensive answers to our questions and I would highly recommend the tour to all.

Marvellous Mike - Mike was an excellent tour guide! His vast knowledge and expertise of the entire fishing industry made the tour very interesting and informative. Mike’s engaging personality and enthusiasm for the new Sydney Fish Market made the tour a wonderful experience. To top it off, all the tastings were amazing. We loved it.

Sydney Fish Markets Food Taste Tour absolutely brilliant! - Our tour was hosted by Mike who was fantastic, so knowledgeable about the markets themselves but also he is incredibly passionate about seafood and shared so many insights into the different types of fish on sale and how to prepare and serve them. The tour far exceeded expectations in terms of how many places we stopped to taste the various types of seafood at, all guided by Mikes excellent knowledge of each of the stalls, who owns them, how long they've been in SFM's and what they are each best known for. It was so good to do this tour before we venture to the markets ourselves in future because now we know where to go, what to eat, which stalls to buy the various types of seafood from. It's crazy busy right now and will continue to be. This is a leading world class facility and will be a star attraction in Sydney from now on. Congratulations to all involved and huge thank you to Mike.

Don't pass this one up - I signed up for this tour and didn't know what to expect. I was blown away. It was so great to learn where all of the seafood comes from then get to try it while our guide (mike, he's honestly the best) walked us through exactly what we are trying. I think it was well worth the price, and I left feeling like I got to try some of the best Australian seafood. I didn't even like oysters going into this, but I was brave, and I tried one and I am changed. If you are interested in trying Australian seafood but don't know where to start, don't miss this tour.

Great time, amazing tastings - Amazing time! We got a great tour of the fish market with really nice tastings. I have been on many food tours and this one is definitly high quality and worth your time!

Overpriced - The tour was not as long as advertised (1 hr instead of 1.5hrs). All food tasting were nice but not the value of the cost of the tour. In our opinion it is well overpriced for what you get. Guide was informative and sample food was nice - just not value for money. Left feeling somewhat disappointed - maybe we just expected more or more of a wow experience. It was more like buying one of this and one of that to sample from a few different outlets.
