● Shilin Official Residence
This site features beautiful Chinese garden-style landscaping, with Western-style flower gardens. Enjoy the annual spring rose bloom and seasonal exhibitions of chrysanthemums, orchids, and more.
● National Palace Museum
The NPM houses approximately 690,000 cultural treasures, mainly from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, including paintings, sculptures, books, and other valuable artifacts. A must-visit in Taipei.
Taipei - Red Route
● National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall
Famous for its blue and white exterior, this hall hosts cultural-arts exhibits and a popular hourly changing-of-the-guard ceremony. Flanked by the National Theater and National Concert Hall.
● Xinyi & Yongkang Intersection (Yongkang Commercial Area)
Near MRT Dongmen Station, this area is known for its unique shops and diverse dining options, such as Din Tai Fung’s xiaolongbao, Yong Kang Beef Noodles, and mango shaved ice. The neighborhood also boasts many charming cafés.
● Taipei 101
This skyscraper is Taiwan’s most iconic landmark. The mall at its base features global-brand boutiques and premium restaurants. The 89th floor Observatory offers a panoramic view of the city.
Taipei - Red Route
● Songshan Cultural and Creative Park (MRT Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station)
This former tobacco factory has been transformed into a vibrant space for cultural-creative, performance, and commercial activities. Culture enthusiasts will enjoy the ongoing cultural-arts performances and exhibits, as well as the onsite Eslite Spectrum Songyan Store.
● Huashan 1914 Creative Park (Ministry of Audit)
A key hub for Taipei’s cultural-creative industry, this park offers facilities for meetings, exhibits, and performances. It also hosts a creative weekend market and occasional outdoor concerts, showcasing local cultural and artistic dynamism.
MON. Taipei - Taroko National Park
Taroko National Park - Be picked up by an English-speaking guide and travel to Taroko Gorge via the world’s fifth longest highway tunnel (12.9km) and the stunning east coast cliff highway. Stop for photos at Chinshui Cliff.
Arrive at Taroko National Park, the only marble gorge in the world. With its marble-walled gorges, lush flora, and mountainous landscapes, Taroko is one of Taiwan’s most breathtaking locations. It is home to half of Taiwan’s plant and animal species.
- Taroko National Park is undergoing repairs following earthquake damage, with limited access hours.
- Currently, only the Taroko Visitor Center and Taroko Archway are open for exploration.
- The journey includes a scenic drive through the gorge, passing landmarks such as Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto, Tunnel of Nine Turns, Cimu Bridge, and Cimu Pavilion. While most sites remain closed for safety, guests can visit Xiande Temple.
TUE. Taroko - Scenic Mountain Road - Sun Moon Lake
Wuling - After breakfast, travel to Sun Moon Lake via the picturesque Central Cross-Island Highway and Wuling on Mt. Hehuan, the highest point (3275m above sea level) of the highway, offering a panoramic view of the Central Mountain Ranges.
Sun Moon Lake - Continue to Sun Moon Lake, a designated National Scenic Area, and drive along the lake to enjoy the natural beauty, visiting Wen-wu Temple with its stunning lake view.
WED. Sun Moon Lake - Tainan
Sun Moon Lake - Visit Holy Monk Shrine, Ita Thao Village, and Tse En Pagoda along the lakeside hill.
Tainan - Travel to Tainan, a historical capital city established in the 16th century.
Anping Fort (Anping gubao) - Take a walking tour around Anping Fort and the old street area, one of the most historic streets. Experience the blend of traditional Chinese and modern Taiwanese culture.
THU. Tainan - Kaohsiung
Chihkan Tower (Fort Provintia) - Chihkan Tower is a historic site in Tainan, established in 1653 by the Dutch as the control center of Taiwan.
Confucius Temple - The first Confucius Temple in Taiwan, founded in 1665. Explore the surrounding area.
Fo Guang Shan - Visit the largest monastery in Taiwan, Foguangshan Monastery. Explore the Main Shrine and Buddhist Museum. Enjoy a light vegetarian lunch at the monastery.
Kaohsiung - The largest city in Southern Taiwan. Check into the hotel in the late afternoon. Enjoy a beautiful night view with a stroll or visit the famous Liuho Night Market to experience local nightlife.
FRI. Kaohsiung - Lukang - Taipei

Lukang - Travel north to Lukang, located in central Taiwan, once a major economic and transport hub. Visit Lungshan temple.
