Worth it! - The soba making process was taught well and very straightforward! The space and instruction is set up to be easy. Making the noodles takes less than 20 minutes, with the remaining time for eating. I was also offered a free drink and snack with my meal (you select the preparation style at the beginning, and they cook it for you at the end). Some of the equipment and the flour is available for purchase to take home. Very good communication before and after the experience as well. And really nice photos! They capture the entire experience from flour to bowl, which is a plus.

Father daughter soba making - I really enjoyed cutting the soba noodles and my daughter liked kneading the dough. A little water goes a long way! Simple ingredients with practiced technique to make the perfect noodles for our meal. We had great instructors and the meeting was modern, clean and inviting!

Best Japanese Cooking Class I've Taken - I have participated in a number of Japanese cooking classes, both in the US and in Japan, and this has to have been my all time favorite! Warm, friendly instructor, thorough step-by-step procedure and a plate of soba at the end that would not have been out of place in a restaurant. So easy, so good! After the class I visited some recommended knife stores on Kitchen Street and bought my own soba knife and cutting guide. Highly recommend!

Fun, bite-sized activity - We ad a great time making soba! The couple running the class are friendly and accomodating, and the method was easy to follow. You get a bit of a workout, but it's all worth getting to enjoy some fresh soba. The whole experience took about 45 minutes, so its a perfect little activity.

Quick, fun lesson in soba noodle making - gluten free, too - This was a private class in a small shop in Kappabashi, Tokyo's kitchen supplies district. It was a very short class (less than an hour), but the two teachers were very enthusiastic and gave us some confidence that we can now make soba noodles on our own. And, they cooked and served us the noodles we made in a lovely broth with some vegetables. The buckwheat they use contains no added wheat so is gluten free, and they were very responsive and considerate of dietary limitations.

Memorable Japan experience!! - We brought family to have a soba and ramen session. The staff were attentive, accommodating and funny, it was such a fun and engaging experience! I learned so much about making the noodles. We got to taste our own making after and chose the style to enjoy the noodles as a group. (You can only choose one style for the group but not individually). We also did the sake pairing but it was a bit greedy for us. I would recommend everyone to come to this cute little shop
