Big Laughs! Tons of Fun! - Meshida is an excellent comic navigating a budding and difficult comedy scene. His crowd work is great and he performed a delightful range of jokes. On top of that he has a very welcoming personality that will guarantee you have a great time.

So good that this is my second visit! - This is my second time attending the show, and it just keeps getting better! Beyond the hilarious jokes and clever cultural teases, it's an incredible way to meet new people. I've never been to a stand-up show where the entire audience ends up bonding over beers and great conversation. Meshida-san truly engages with every participant on a personal level, making the experience feel extra special. I had a fantastic evening!

Laughter - Shouganai - The comedy gig by Meshida was a lot of fun. I got to the venue 30 minutes before the start of the show and had a chance to chat and make introductions. His show is very interactive with a lot of back and forth with audience members. I certainly laughed a lot and would recommend his show to anyone visiting Japan and who is curious to see some Japanese humour. I would like to see his show again the next time I’m in Tokyo.

Cool Japan, Cool Comedy - The professionalism and courtesy was top notch from beginning to end. Most importantly, it was a good, funny show. I would recommend to anyone who has the chance to go, should go. Educational, interactive, and hilarious. Can't ask for me from a good comedy show. Nevertheless, underneath it all, what you're watching is a silent revolution as Meshida-san changes the face of the comedy landscape for a generation and for an entire nation.

Meshida's Stand up Comedy Show in Tokyo: A Fun Evening Out - At Meshida's comedy show last week in Asakusa, Tokyo, we laughed a lot and learned about the real Japan. I visited Tokyo with my wife, as part of our trip across Japan. We stayed in Asakusa to see a new (for us) part of Tokyo and sample the scenery and nightlife. Meshida's comedy show was a highlight. We chatted with other guests for half an hour before the show started, then after a brief introduction, Meshida began his set. He told stories and used simple props to illustrate some of his points. The jokes covered many topics, and many included audience interaction or questions. After this comedy show, I will never be able to look at "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by Hokusai the same way again. This venue in Asakusa (Tokyo Brain) is small but comfortable and easy to find. You won't get lost in a crowd here, and you will have a chance to talk with Meshida before or after the show. Other audience members seemed to be YouTube followers of Meshida, like me. I started following Meshica on YouTube back in 2014, so more than 10 years ago. And now, I finally got to see the show in person! My wife also enjoyed the show a lot, and was glad we went. I would recommend Meshida's show to anybody looking for an evening laughs while learning something interesting about Japanese history and culture.

Worth a Try - An engaging show that cleverly satirizes various societal phenomena with sharp irony—worth experiencing if you're in Tokyo!

Live show Meshida - I have been following Meshida's YouTube channel for over 2 years now, and I am glad that I took the opportunity to visit his live show during my trip in Tokyo. The jokes were on point and his delivery with accompanying facial expressions were hilarious. If you like the types of jokes Meshida cracks on his socials, then you're in for a good time. Most of the jokes were original and not featured on his socials from before, so my main concern was alleviated. In addition to Meshida, the live show also featured Ken Suzuki and Yasushi. It was great to meet and talk with the comedians and get to know them on a more personal level, which I really appreciated. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience I would recommend to any fan of Meshida.

Easily The BEST English Comedy Show in Japan! - Meshida truly knows how to work a room and involve the audience in his comedy. I have been a subscriber to his YouTube channel for a few years and I brought a friend with me who has never seen any of Meshida's content, yet we both had an amazing time laughing our butts off at his comedy show. If you are thinking about going, stop thinking and get the tickets because Meshida is hilarious and you get to learn about Japanese culture at the same time!

Skip - The humor was not visible most of the evening. The smoke-filled room holds about 12 people. Yoshidori is a nice person but unfortunately needs tons of work polishing his material
