ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Tarangire National Park - The journey begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and iconic baobab trees. Upon entering the park, anticipate encountering large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and various antelope species. Relish a picnic lunch amidst the park’s stunning natural beauty while exploring its picturesque landscapes throughout the day. The knowledgeable guide provides insights into the park’s habitat and animal behaviors. As the sun sets, return to your accommodation for a peaceful evening and a chance to reflect on the day’s wildlife encounters. Later in the afternoon, transportation will be provided to Suricata Boma Lodge for relaxation and preparation for the following day.

NGORONGORO CRATER

Ngorongoro Crater - Rise early today to ensure ample preparation time. Upon entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, be captivated by the surrounding splendor, especially when reaching the crater’s edge to witness the breathtaking view of one of the world’s natural marvels. This extinct volcano’s crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera globally, covering 20 square kilometers and estimated to be around 3 million years old. The crater’s remarkable wildlife thrives within its natural boundaries. The Big Five inhabit the crater, offering a fantastic chance to spot the endangered black rhino, along with elephants, buffalo, zebras, and hyenas. At the day’s end, you will be driven back to Arusha for a well-deserved rest.
