- Kilimanjaro National Park - Guests will be picked up in the morning from their hotel in Moshi and transported to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (Marangu Gate, 1860m). The journey will take about 1 hour. The trek will commence, leading guests through the lush Kilimanjaro rainforest. In addition to the remarkable vegetation, there will be opportunities to spot black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and various bird species. An English-speaking guide will provide information about Kilimanjaro and explain the different plant and animal species encountered. After a 3-4 hour hike, guests will arrive at Mandara Hut (2700m) for a well-deserved rest and lunch. The guide will then lead a short hike (15 minutes walking distance) to the Maundi Crater, offering stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Northern Tanzania, and Kenya. After enjoying the scenery, guests will return to the Marangu Gate (2-3 hours walking distance) and be driven back to their hotel in Moshi.

The Kilimanjaro day trip, Sneak Peek of the Peak Hike, offers the chance to tackle the initial part of the renowned Marangu Route. This journey takes you through a rainforest rich with wildlife and lively sounds. Enjoy lunch at Mandara Hut, and then choose to visit Maundi Crater, capture some photos, and descend using the same path. The hike takes approximately 3 hours to ascend and 2 hours to descend. For the tour, please bring sturdy hiking shoes, a rain jacket, and a small day pack to carry your lunchbox and drinking water.
