Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Arusha at approximately 07:30 am and travel on a paved road for 120 km (2 hours) to reach Tarangire National Park. This park is home to unique dry-country antelope, including the rare fringe-eared oryx and the unusual, long-necked gerenuk. The southern swampy areas of the park provide fascinating wildlife viewing opportunities, featuring wallowing elephants and buffalo, the Silale Swamp lion pride, and occasionally wild dogs. Large pythons can sometimes be spotted in trees as the swamps dry up. Lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic site, followed by game drives until check-out time. After the game drives, guests will proceed to the camp for an overnight stay.

Mto wa Mbu - Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, guests will drive to the Serengeti (14,763 sq km or 5,700 sq miles) for game drives. As the day cools and the Serengeti sky is painted with red, gold, and orange hues, visitors may be delighted by the roar of a lion, a galloping giraffe, or the high-pitched giggles of hyenas squabbling over a kill. Game drives will continue until sunset. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the camp.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Early morning game drives in the Serengeti National Park are scheduled. The Serengeti is arguably the most magnificent wildlife sanctuary globally, renowned for the ‘Great Migration,’ where over a million wildebeest and more than two hundred thousand zebras annually follow the seasonal rains for lush pastures. Even without this mass migration, the Serengeti remains an impressive and captivating place that never fails to enchant. Game drives will continue until check-out time. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the camp.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - Distance: 190km, ETA: 3 hours

After an early breakfast, guests will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater (19.2 km in diameter, 610 m deep, and 304 sq km) is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas globally and is home to some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Its large population of predators is another major attraction to this scenic crater. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, this stunning oasis offers a sanctuary for both predators and prey to thrive among the grasslands. After game drives, guests will return to Arusha for a drop-off at around 5 pm.
