ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Tarangire National Park - The journey begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park, celebrated for its diverse wildlife and iconic baobab trees. Upon entering the park, anticipate encountering large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and various antelope species. Relish a picnic lunch amidst the park’s breathtaking landscapes while exploring its picturesque scenery throughout the day. Your experienced guide will provide insights into the park’s ecosystem and animal behaviors. As the sun sets, you’ll return to your accommodation for a relaxing evening, reflecting on the day’s wildlife encounters. Later in the afternoon, you’ll be transported to Suricata Boma Lodge to unwind and prepare for the next day’s adventures.

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Serengeti National Park - Today promises to be one of the most exhilarating travel days. An early rise for a hearty breakfast sets the stage for a journey along the dusty roads to Serengeti National Park, one of Tanzania’s most renowned destinations. Often regarded as one of East Africa’s premier parks, Serengeti offers an exciting day ahead. Along the route, you’ll witness the stunning landscape, with sweeping views showcasing the region’s raw beauty. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, there’s an opportunity to glimpse the Ngorongoro Crater before arriving at Serengeti’s entrance at Naabi Hill Gate. After a delightful warm meal, enjoy an afternoon game drive until sunset, then proceed to Matawi Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay. Visiting Serengeti is always unforgettable, famed for the Great Wildebeest Migration, vast plains, abundant predators, and a high population of lions, making it a true “lion paradise.”

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS

Serengeti National Park - Begin the day with a sunrise game drive following a simple warm breakfast around 6:00 am. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise game drive until late morning, around 10:00 am, when you’ll return to the campsite for a full hot and delicious breakfast. After breakfast, the game drive continues until the sun is high. Following a pleasant picnic lunch, it’s time to head eastwards to explore another remarkable setting for Tanzania’s wildlife, the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, at Ngorongoro Wild Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

NGORONGORO CRATER

Ngorongoro Crater - After a hot and delicious breakfast, the professional guide will be ready to pick you up from the lodge to commence the game drive to the African Garden of Eden. The crater is famous for its high concentration of fascinating animals, and you’ll soon witness more spectacular sights as your driver tracks down anything missed before lunch. After an extensive game drive, enjoy a lunch break at Hippos Pool. Post-lunch, depart the crater and return to Suricata Boma Lodge.

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Lake Manyara National Park - The compact Lake Manyara National Park boasts over 400 bird species, primate-filled forests, and grassy plains. A significant portion of the park is occupied by the alkaline Lake Manyara, home to flamingo colonies and other water birds. Besides giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and impalas on the grassy plains, you might spot lions lounging in trees and elephants feeding on acacias in the woodlands. The forest near the lake is alive with noisy blue monkey troops, while extended baboon families linger by the roads. After the game drive, you’ll return to Arusha in the late afternoon. Game viewing time: 5-6 hours.
