Arusha to Manyara National Park

The Serengeti hosts the world’s largest animal migration, known as the “Great Migration.” Over 1.7 million wildebeest, 500,000 zebras, and 200,000 antelopes journey from the Ndutu region in the southern Serengeti northward across the “endless plains” to Kenya’s Masai Mara. Enjoy dinner and relaxation.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Ngorongoro Crater - Rise early at 0600 hours for morning game drives in the Serengeti, returning to the campsite for breakfast at 0900 hours. Check out and travel with lunch, enjoying game viewing en route to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera globally, covers 260 kilometers and reaches a depth of 610 meters. The crater offers a protected environment for numerous mammals and birds. Spend the entire day on the crater floor observing lions, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, black rhinoceroses, and various small antelope species. The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, situated between the Serengeti and Lake Manyara, is home to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera worldwide. Some scientists suggest that before its eruption, Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera globally, might have been taller than Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.

Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a game drive before departing for Ngorongoro for a safari game drive with a picnic lunch. Leave after 1 pm and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park, located in Tanzania’s Manyara Region, derives its name from the Tarangire River that traverses the park. This river serves as the main fresh water source for wildlife in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season. The Tarangire Ecosystem is characterized by the long-distance migration of wildebeests and zebras. During the dry season, thousands of animals gather in Tarangire National Park from the surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas.

Tarangire to Arusha

Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, embark on a game drive until 1 pm, then begin the drive back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at the Arusha airport to catch your flight home or at your hotel. This marks the end of the safari.
