Setting Sail from Tarifa

As a family travel writer, I’m always on the lookout for unique experiences that can captivate both adults and children alike. When I heard about the Tangier Ferry Adventure from Tarifa to Tangier, I knew it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. No trip to Tangier would be complete without indulging in the local cuisine. We were treated to a delicious lunch at a charming Moroccan restaurant, where the flavors and aromas were unlike anything we’d experienced before. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find that the meal catered to all dietary preferences, ensuring that everyone in the family could enjoy the feast.

After lunch, we explored the bustling Medina of Tangier, where the vibrant markets offered a sensory overload of sights, sounds, and smells. The kids were fascinated by the array of goods on display, from colorful textiles to aromatic spices. Mohammad was always nearby, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable as we navigated the lively streets.

As our day in Tangier came to a close, we boarded the ferry back to Tarifa, our hearts full of memories and our minds buzzing with the wonders we’d seen. The Tangier Ferry Adventure was more than just a day trip; it was an unforgettable journey that opened our eyes to a new culture and left us eager to explore more of the world.
