Next, we ventured to the Caves of Hercules, a place steeped in myth and legend. The kids loved exploring the caves, and Mohamed’s tales of Hercules added an extra layer of magic to the experience.

The highlight of our day was undoubtedly the visit to the Medina of Tangier. The bustling markets, vibrant colors, and enticing aromas were a feast for the senses. We wandered through the souks, sampling olives and cheeses, and even tried our hand at haggling for souvenirs. It was a wonderful opportunity for the kids to practice their Spanish and learn a few words of Arabic, making the experience both fun and educational.

No trip to Tangier would be complete without indulging in the local cuisine, and our lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant was a culinary delight. Even my picky eater was won over by the flavors of tagine and couscous. The meal was a perfect way to introduce the kids to Moroccan culture, and they were eager to try everything on offer.

As we made our way back to the port, Mohamed ensured that our departure was as smooth as our arrival. He personally stamped our passports and walked us to the ferry, making sure we didn’t have to wait in line. It was this attention to detail and genuine care that made the Tangier Ferry Adventure such a memorable experience for our family.
