Before starting the hike We will check our bags and corroborate we have enough water and your snacks keeping inside. The trekking sticks and helmet will be sent to you. We will start the hike at 4100 meters above sea level and usually, it takes 3 hours until the summit. The first part is walking 1 kilometer until the border of the crater from where you could see the two lakes (4280 meters). The second part of the hike is to descend to the lake of the moon and find the way on the ascend again until the first compound of peaks, it means now We will be again at the border of the crater (4400 meters). The hike continues on the border even climbing rocks in some parts until reaches the summit at 4680 meters. The return usually takes another 3 hours until the vehicle again. We can take our lunch or snacks at any time during our hike.
