- Chalong Pier Meeting Point - Scuba divers often describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging yet rewarding course they have ever taken. Why is that? Because it teaches how to prevent and manage problems in the water, boosting confidence in diving skills and the ability to assist others when necessary. Throughout the course, participants enhance their buddy skills by practicing problem-solving techniques until they become instinctive. Additionally, the course is enjoyable – it maintains a serious tone but includes plenty of laughter amidst the focused learning.
PADI (Junior) Adventure Divers who are at least 12 years old and have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive are eligible to enroll in a Rescue Diver course. Participants must also have completed Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the last 24 months. This training can be completed during the Rescue Diver course. Instructors may also offer the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider specialty diver course concurrently.
