Great service! - We had a great Aurora Dinner Cruise at the end of March 2025. Staff was very attentive and we were lucky to see some of the strongest aurora's of our trip due to the captain cruising us to the right spots (and some luck). But we are most happy with the Brim Explorers booking service. We had some issues with our booking trough our third party travel agent, but direct contact with Brim Explorer made it much easier and ensured that we could enjoy the excursion we hoped for.

Magical and excellent experience! 100% recommended! - Magical and excellent experience! 100% recommended! Me and my boyfriend joined the dinner cruise on 22 Mar 2025. Everything were well-organised including the table arrangement. I would like to applaud the staff - Dominika, Pedro and Venke, they managed everything very well, from the safety demonstration, cuisine introduction to journey explanation. You can also ask anything related to your trip! We were so lucky to see the Northern Lights not long since we departed from the pier. It was a non-stop show. Dominika, which I highly appreciated, let us know that the Northern Lights are here once it was seen. I can tell that she was passionate. She was also very keen to help us with photo taking (she didn't just help us take pictures once, but also reminded us if we want to take more!) All crew members had a really good communication. Regarding the food, it was fantastic. We had a welcome alcoholic drink on arrival. They used local food such as arctic cod. They also catered vegan. The food ingredients combinations were also really nice! One thing to mention is that they also made sure that the food was freshly served. We all went out to the deck to see the Northern Lights and they would wait until we were back to serve the food. Throughout the journey they also made good use of the TV screen to tell us more about the cruise and Northern Lights. They are very well-trained, interactive, responsive and friendly! The ship, crew member, atmosphere, food and Northern Lights were just perfect! Thank you Dominika, Pedro, Venke, the captain and all other crew member!

Wonderful! - I had an incredible evening! The trip started with some light so we were able to see the beautiful landscape as we left the port. Then Dominika started with the safety talk and it was hilarious! We started the dinner with a delicious appetizer, then the main course, with the staff fast and very kind, they took care of the extra allergies despite being limited on a boat. The guiding very interesting and nice and the service great with Fred and Ivan who were very fast and helpful! An unforgettable evening, thank you so much to everyone!!

The Argentine waiter a genius! - Thank you Lautaro for the excellent care and humility! The food is good. It could be more abundant but he's going to see auroras and on his way to lunch. Not the other way around!

Nice outing! - Nice outing and good dinner. The very friendly staff gave us lots of explanations about the Northern Lights and Norway in general. Unfortunately the sky was overcast and we did not see the dawn!

Great Aurora Dinner Cruise - This aurora dinner cruise was amazing. The staff were wonderful, and provided us with several short informative talks about the Northern Lights, the Arctic, and Tromso. We got to see a strong aurora display, which was really a peak experience. The welcome champagne was a nice touch and the dinner was quite good. Really a lovely evening.

Great evening with friends wining and dining whilst seeing the Tromsø area - Boat was surprisingly nice and we were made very welcome from the beginning. Staff very helpful. Food was good. Great way to see the surrounding area. We were also lucky to see the northern lights - icing on the cake!

Highly recommend for a shuttle-free tour!! - We loved this cruise. The food was great. There's a bar on board which was nice to order from and enjoy the trip. It was a windy night and we thought the boat would be rough and moving but it was actually really stable and comfortable.

Dinner on the waves - The boat is quite nice, with very large windows to see the fjord. Dinner was surprisingly good considering the limited staff and kitchen. Not much wine selection. Music was excellent if you like 70s and 80s hits (classic rock). They put couples on second floor and larger groups downstairs by the bar where it is noisier. Sadly we never saw the aurora because of clouds. We would have appreciated more narration about the sights around us and the prospects of seeing the aurora. All we heard was a life vest demonstration and brief descriptions of the 3 food courses that were also written on the website. Although staff were pleasant enough, we did not find them particularly friendly or outgoing as some reviewers claim.

Very disappointing and very expensive - Really far too expensive for an excessively light meal, a very light starter 2 unfortunate pieces of bread, a very ordinary dish, no cheese, a Panna Cotta, Supermarket for dessert. Just two cups of a low-end sparkling wine and when asked if you can have two extra pieces of bread, they tell you there are none. The boat ride is certainly pleasant but again it is certainly not worth the price. In addition the boat remained stationary for a long time.
