- Troms - Upon finding the perfect spot, an intimate location away from other tours and artificial lights will be selected. Patience is key, as the Aurora may appear within minutes or after a couple of hours. To enhance the waiting experience, a bonfire will be lit, and participants can enjoy soup, cookies, and hot chocolate while learning all about this natural wonder. Winter temperatures can range from +5°C to -30°C, so thermal suits will be provided for everyone.
For those with cameras, guidance on setting them up to capture the Aurora will be offered. Additionally, professional photos will be taken to ensure lasting memories of this magical night.
- Troms - It’s important to remember that nature is unpredictable: occasionally, the sky may remain cloudy or solar activity may be low. However, even on uncertain nights, a 20-minute break in the clouds can reveal a breathtaking display. With expertise in local weather and advanced tools, the chances of being in the right place at the right time will be maximized.
Nights without the Aurora are rare, but they do occur. Therefore, it’s crucial to remember that the Aurora cannot be guaranteed 100%.
The tour’s duration will depend on how long it takes to find the ideal conditions. Sometimes, it’s just a 30-minute journey from Tromsø, while other times, a true Aurora hunt is needed, exploring a larger area to find a clear sky. Regardless of the night, an unforgettable adventure is assured!
