WONDERFUL SLEDGING EXPERIENCE WITH ALASKAN HUSKIES - We did this tour on March 8, 2025 and it was a wonderful experience. At the beginning we had doubts about whether to do it or not because for us it is important to respect animals but we did some research and chose this tour because all the dogs were Alaskan Huskies, a breed of dogs that for physical characteristics needs to travel long distances and is able to pull many times their weight. Arrived on the spot we had confirmation, the dogs were all well kept, sweet and affectionate even with us as well as with the guides and above all they could not wait to leave with the sled. They were impatient and tried to leave. The guide explained well how to bring the sled and give commands to the dogs. It was great to ride the sledge while our 4 huskies pulled us on the snow. I was driving and my girlfriend was sitting, and then we switched places halfway through. Highly recommended because it is a beautiful experience and especially in respect of dogs and nature.

An unforgettable adventure in Tromsø's winter landscape - The dog sledding tour was an all-round well-organized and impressive experience. The arrival by modern buses, which takes about 1.5 hours to the venue, was already pleasant. The entire tour lasted about 6-7 hours, of which one hour was spent on the actual dog sled ride. The dogs made a very positive impression: They were well-groomed, cheerful and seemed to enjoy their task. The snowy landscape was beautiful, even if the weather was strong windy on our day. The route was easy to tackle and therefore suitable for beginners. Before the beginning there was a good introduction and explanation, which was given in English. All important aspects were explained in a clear and comprehensible way, which ensured safety and trust. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating; some staff even spoke German, which provided extra comfort. After the tour we had fish soup and hot drinks. Meanwhile, there were interesting insights into the daily life and work of the sled dog farm. Negative is hardly anything to mention – only the time on the sled could have been 30 to 60 minutes longer, as the fun was unfortunately over far too quickly. The tour is priced at a premium, but offers a quality and authentic experience. Overall rating: A fantastic tour for nature and animal lovers that offers impressive experiences and great organization. Despite the price absolutely recommended! 4.5 out of 5 stars

Superb Sledging with Huskys - Easy pick up from Tromso, with a scenic drive to the huskies. The huskies are all very friendly and well looked after. I wore the clothes provided , which were very warm. Great time sledging and the provided local fish stew was great afterwards.

The best activity - Absolutely brilliant activity! The best I've done in my opinion. The sleigh ride was great, it lasted quite a long time which gave time to really enjoy it, both as a musher and as a passenger. The dogs are motivated, and very cuddly once the course is finished. I tried not to be jealous and to give everyone a hug ^^ Then, as for the meal, the fish soup was very good, very hot. While we ate, we could chat with the trainer, who explained to us how the dogs were trained, from what age, etc... Then we went to see the young dogs being trained. And finally, 20 minutes alone while waiting for the bus, where I cuddled as many dogs as possible, they are very eager for caresses and very nice.

Unique and heartwarming experience - A very unique and fun experience; although many people book this and you go to/from the location with a big bus the activity itself divides you into smaller groups (4 sleds + guide’s sled) to make it more enjoyable and to make it manageable for the guides to look out for everyone. The dogs are very socialized and eager to run, and it seems that the staff keep a close eye on their health and make sure they take turns running so they arent overworked. They explained that they will reorganize the kennels to give the dogs more space during their resting time which was the only concern i had regarding their wellbeing.
